Really? In two of their three series wins, OKC essentially dominated the Grizzlies. In one of their losses they had a double digit lead late and, once again, their youth and inability to close out games effectively cost them and they lost in OT. This series is tied up 3-3 and I think the teams are somewhat even, but everything I've seen in this series has lead me to believe OKC is the better team. They just haven't figured out how to consistently close games.

Yeah, I agree. I love Kevin Durant, but he's not doing anything to help himself. Westbrook and Brooks have shouldered a lot of the blame this series but, at some point, Durant has to start taking some of the blame, too. Russell Westbrook had 27 points and more turnovers than assists in the loss. And Kevin Durant was just 3-of-14 for 11 points.

I feel like Durant has seemed discouraged at times throughout this series... almost like he doesn't want to work for the ball because he doesn't think he's going to get it even if he does get open.

Yeah, I agree. I love Kevin Durant, but he's not doing anything to help himself. Westbrook and Brooks have shouldered a lot of the blame this series but, at some point, Durant has to start taking some of the blame, too. Over the course of this series I've really started to think less and less of Brooks as a coach.
I have no regard for him as a coach at all. I'm not sure what he does at all, other than manage minutes. There is no secondary option on any of our "plays," which all consist of just try to score, get kd the ball. There's no counter, no misdirection, unless the players make that read themselves like Perk and Russ did on that ONE time when Perk slipped to the basket after Gasol tried to cheat on the high side.
