he got fouled before he traveled, but then in order to take and make the shot he traveled.

if you look at it, he really wasnt shooting when he put his body into deng. he drew the foul, then stepped back and shot the ball. the foul wasnt in his shooting motion.

should have been a non shooting foul. i think because it was kind of unusual the refs just froze and let it go.

Nine times out of ten the refs aren't making that call on anyone. Deng is more likely to get called for a foul there than LeBron for a travel.

My friend, who hates specifically LeBron and Rose dedicated his blog this year to how many times LeBron traveled according to the rules and Rose double-dribbled according to the rules. Each would have had over 200 more turnovers if the rules were properly enforced.

In my opinion this is true for almost all players, the ball handling in basketball is the poorest it's ever been, but it's not the players or coaches fault as much as the refs. They simply do not call the extra step or the carry anymore at any level consistently.

Carries, palms, and travels happen ALL THE TIME. Fouls go uncalled, and phantom fouls get called. And not just superstars get away with it although agressiveness going to the rim is generally rewarded. I'd like to see the rules enforced more, but I'm not one that only sees it and mentions it when it negatively affects the team I root for. If they tightened things up, the players will adjust. If the rules need to be modified to make those things OK, then do that. Have rules and enforce them equally and consistently. Still, refs are human, they miss things, and they make mistakes. In the end, it all, more or less, zeros out.

If you don't get upset or mention it when your favorite player does something and gets away with it, then have the same outlook, maintain some credibility, and clam up when the other players catch a break too.
