Head coach Vincent Collet just announced the French squad that will compete in this summer's Eurobasket. This is the deepest roster France has had in a while and is stacked more than usual in terms of NBA players and sheer talent.

All but four players have NBA experience and Nando De Colo's rights are held by the Spurs. Should be interesting to see these guys against Spain, Russia, Turkey, and Greece.

Italy's national team is disgusting to watch, they rely way too heavily on iso's for Bellinelli and Bargnani. Last summer, there were regularly games where they're 3rd leading scorer had 6-8 points. They've got some other good players like Dan Hackett and especially Stefano Mancinelli, they've just got to use them better and move the ball more.

Mancinelli is a douche bag but he's got a lot of talent even after being a knucklehead. He's very athletic, versatile and plays tough.

That is, foreigners move to another country and grow up there and in these guys cases they became great ballers, they'd have their french passport even if they wouldn't have had touched a basketball in their life. And the Caribbean players are from french oversea regions.

And if you're gonna write a comment like that, at least tell the truth, Russia has Robert Holden who became "russian" just for basketball causes. Germany has Demond Green among many others, Ibaka is gonna play for Spain. Greece has Schortsanitis who's dad is macedonian and his mother i from Cameroon and he's born there as well. Chris Kaman is playing on the german because one of his great-grandparents were german and he doesn't even know a word.

They don't have enough scoring on that team. There are too many good teams in the tournament, for them to win it, or I think even medal because with weak scoring as a team they will have a couple of off games and get beat.

No way Kaun and Mozgov start together, there's absolutely no back to the basket or perimeter threat. Ponkrashov is a horrible shooter, he'll probably back up Bykov if Holden doesn't play.
