NBA 2k11 Online League (Xbox 360)

What's up everyone? It's summer and I'm getting a little bored during the day. Would anyone be interested in doing an online franchise? I would probably just do an 8 person league, so me + 7 people on here that really want to do it. But I need people who would play at least 1 game a day.

My settings would probably be..
Difficulty:Superstar
Quarter Length: 8-10 min(I want your input)
8 teams (4 make playoffs)
Fantasy Draft or Real Teams(Again I want your input)

All you do is shoot 3's with Nash. You don't even pass the ball. Somehow, at least half your threes go in.

I'm more of a my player type of person I don't practice shooting with each guy. Quit acting like your some sort of pro at defense I did a pull up 3 everytime pretty much, nash even had every point but 2 the second game so quit acting like i shot with the other guys. Only reason I made some shots the third game was because you were busy triple teaming nash and I was open with hill or frye.

Yeah, I've played him 3 times and all he uses is Steve Nash.. He keeps pace for maybe 2 quarters but eventually the 3's stop falling haha. If he had 5 Steve Nash's he'd be unstoppable. :lol

You're excellent at shooting with Nash but your game is way too predictable. Why not run some pick and rolls or try to hit cutters from time to time? If anything, it would open up even more shots for Nash.

I don't cheese. Just because I make a high percentage of my shots doesn't mean I'm cheesing. I take smart shots. You played a 2-3 zone so the wings were WIDE OPEN for Melo. You used the euro step/hop step/and cherry picked throughout the ENTIRE game. I beat you with good defense and jump shooting+fast break. I don't even have a problem with the way you play, I love it because it gives me an awesome challenge, I'm just pointing out things you do.


BTW whoever the guy was that quit on me in the 2nd quarter when I was up 40-24(Wolves) you will probably be kicked.

I don't really care about or have a problem with how any opponent plays, I'm only concerned about one thing and that's getting the win.

You full court pressed the entire second half, maybe even part of the second quarter. And you also tried to steal inbound passes and take CHARGES at half court. Just saying.

Idk how to do a spin dunk.. I just hold turbo and a direction on the shot stick and sometimes they do it.

That's one of my problems, I relax too much at the end of the game when I have an 8-10 pt lead and end up having to slug it out at the end. You hit some crazy shots with CP3 and Rose towards the end of the game, that was a tough combo to defend. I was thinking about laying it up because I didn't think I could get the dunk off in time. :oldlol:

Nah, I get there in time, beat the man to the spot, and position myself. Very, very few times you can't prevent the charge. If you don't run up and down the court using turbo straight out of the inbounds, you wouldn't have this problem.

This is the last time I'm responding to your excuses...I don't stand behind you to take a charge, I stand behind you during the inbound so you can't outlet your inbound at half court and get extra time for your possession. Passing it to your shooting guard isn't smart, that's common sense.

There's no chance Kevin Martin or Brandon Roy is catching Rose or CP3 on the fast break in time to contest the shot, none at all. Yao's got some of lowest stamina and might be the slowest guy in the game. When he scores, there's no way he's getting back in time to protect the paint and Dirk isn't a shot blocker. Lebron can't cover both Rose and CP3 on the break. Taking a charge is defense, bud. Simple as that. You could try taking charges against me, I'm not going to get called for them because they're easy as hell to avoid.

how Bogut/Pau are my leading scorers...maybe it's because I try to work the ball in the post because I can control the pace better. Not just dribbling with Rose/CP3. In fact I think they're the two lowest scoring starters I have. The only time I drive with either is to open one up for the three.

I don't think the cold streak killed you as much as playing Anthony Morrow and Rashard Lewis at center did. You managed a bit of a comeback with that lineup initially but then the lack of shot blocking and interior defense was exposed especially with Shard at C for long stretches. I pretty much had free will to attack the basket and not worry about shot blocking. That's what really hurt you, IMO.

My advice would be to run that lineup except with Shard at the 4 and McGee at the 5. That way you've got the floor completely spaced and still a menacing shot blocker and rebounder.

What a display of shooting in that second half though. Morrow with 7 3s and Crawford with 4. :oldlol:

I don't think the cold streak killed you as much as playing Anthony Morrow and Rashard Lewis at center did. You managed a bit of a comeback with that lineup initially but then the lack of shot blocking and interior defense was exposed especially with Shard at C for long stretches. I pretty much had free will to attack the basket and not worry about shot blocking. That's what really hurt you, IMO.

My advice would be to run that lineup except with Shard at the 4 and McGee at the 5. That way you've got the floor completely spaced and still a menacing shot blocker and rebounder.

What a display of shooting in that second half though. Morrow with 7 3s and Crawford with 4. :oldlol:

lmao, the kid who shoots 70% of his shots with Steve Nash and tries to take charges on every possession calling someone a cheeser. Not much you can do when someone's making contested 3s from 28ft out fading away consistently with Nash and Terry. Pretty much the only way to come back was force it inside.
