Jordan racked up those numbers almost entirely through the natural course of the game. Meanwhile, everyone in the arena for that Lakers/Raptors game, including the Raptors themselves, wanted to witness Kobe score big. They stopped guarding him, the oppositions bench was cheerleading, the four other players on the floor for LA deferred to Kobe and got him every touch... it was a glorified exhibition game.

I know man. So obsessed with all these metrics they lose sight of what's real. Then when they look up and Kobe's no longer in the league they gonna realize they missed a legend.

Jordan 24 shots per game...Kobe 19 shots per game

I'll take the guy with 5 more ppg on 50% shooting over the other guy

So although Kobe may be capable of having an incredible outburst from time to time, he fails to do it consistently, therefore he couldn't even dominate his own era in scoring titles....and then there is the playoffs :roll:

Are you really that butthurt, that you insinuate that i've only been watching basketball for two years because I posted a topic about a historical game that occurred 5 years ago? I didn't really think it out, it was really just in the moment kind of thing, but I think that subtle stab at your character at the end was really good. Not one of my best and definitely not one of my longest, but it was short and sweet and I think that says alot about insults don't you think? Too many insults focus too much on curse words and don't directly attack the person at hand enough and that's what you need to do to make these insults stick.
