For example; in my goat list, I rank Duncan over Shaq but Shaq an incredible peak. Shaq was, along side Wilt, the MDE.

Take a look at his numbers from '74 thru '76...INCLUDING the playoffs. And those numbers came in league's that were statistically, nearly identical to the current NBA (e.g. 34.5 ppg in '75, in a league that averaged 102.6 ppg.) And he finished 2nd, 1st, and 2nd in the MVP balloting in those three years, as well.
