So just post five NBA players that seem like they would be cool guys.

Ray Allen
Derrick Rose
Kevin Durant
Vince Carter
Tracy Mcrady (I've met him, so I know for a fact he's a cool guy).

Rose and Durant are too boring

L.Kizzle

Arenas
Allen
McGrady
Nash
Baron Davis

Rose seems like a loser, I don't know why though. :lol

Arenas
Rose seems like a loser, I don't know why though. :lol

He has an extremely monotone voice. Maybe that's why.

I like him though. He's very mature and grounded for a young guy, yet he's also very confident. The perfect personality for an NBA superstar.

Arenas

McGrady
Nash
Baron Davis

Rose seems like a loser, I don't know why though. :lol

And I have to say, Arenas doesn't really fit in with the rest of the guys you posted. He's kind of a loose canon (no pun intended).

those are some boring azz personalities.......... i like those who are more outgoing and have a huge sense for humor.... like SHAQ, BARON, NASH, LEBRON, DWIGHT AND SO ON

i believe lebron & shaq were even criticized for having fun ingame.... like... "but jordan, kobe, hakeem, kareem aint like that.. they are always focused on the game.. lebron & shaq are not.." pretty sad some ppl are

Dwight Howard-i like how playful he can sometimes be. Even if it is a career, at its heart its still a game and it's nice to see someone not be overly serious about it.

Steve Nash-done some amusing things in the past (recently a car commercial where he cuts off an old lady), some see him as "the great white hope."

Kevin Durant-great but isn't in your face about it.

Nate Robinson-exemplifies the NBA short player who inspires people who are less than 6'

Tim Duncan-shows you don't have to be overly flashy to be successful.

Those egomaniacs like Lebron who refer to themselves in the third person (:oldlol:) would be way more annoying to hang out with.

i can see it. Arenas is funny to me. He had pics of him planking on his twitter recently, and once was tweeting throughout a blind date about how bad it was.

Yeah I'm not saying he wouldn't be a cool guy, but he just seemed way crazier than the other guys in that list.

I can't see why? At comparable age's Rose is definitely light years ahead of everybody you named. Not even remotely close. In fact, Rose, before his fourth season can only be compared to Nash's 14 year career in terms of winning and accomplishments.

Not a loser on the court, off the court smarty. That's what the thread is about (personality.)

Some for all times sake.

Ray Allen - he strolls around visiting cities looking at architecture and special lores in the city - real cool guy.

D. Dawkins, KG, Shaq, Nash, and AI - real down to earth guys with a good sense of humor.

Wilt - gave great interviews in his later days. Understood people and had a great perspective on life. The most charismatic of the bunch.

Deke and Manute Bol - sense of humor, sense of purpose and a good sense of dedication to causes.

Magic - A guy that was confronted with death and kep on smilin.

If you seen the surroundings that Rose had to overcome, and for him to come out of it humble and confident is amazing. So yeah, I'm not getting the looser reference? Help me out?

I would have loved to have hung out with Barkley until his DUI. Funny guy always partying behind the scenes.

Nash seems to have interesting things going on. Same with Ray Allen. Not just partying, seeing cities and museums.

Shaq because he is just fun.

Dirk Nowitzki and Tim Duncan. Both seem to do fun things but keep it low key.

Matt Bonner, never takes himself seriously, like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4810YXU-mjI

Lol what? C-Webb is an asshole. I saw Jamal Mashburn at Vegas before. He seemed like a nice guy, but I didn't approach him. He was with his kids and some white friend of his and the white guy's kids.

Chris was a real cool guy when I met him in '98. But this was before his trade to Sacramento, which he was extremely upset about.

The stipulation is the players I'd want to hang out with right? Just cuz they are good at hoops (Dizz Rose) doesn't mean they would be that entertaining.

#1: Steve Nash. He'd be the guy that I'd want to go to a skate park and just roam around town and act foolish. Do some random street improv stuff with him. We'd just walk around 'White Man Can't Jump' style carrying a hoop hustlin people. Award: Most likely to start an impromptu anything competition.

#2: Tim Duncan: I think he has a really dry sense of humor, that isn't seen on tv. I think he'd be the guy I'd want to come kick it with me and my friends if we were gonna go watch a movie or something. Seems like he has the comedic timing for making wise cracks during a flick.

#3: Dwayne Wade. Sex & drug parties. No need to say anything else. He seems like the most normal guy. He acts like basically I would act. Be fun to party/play beer pong with. Prolly makes a ton of rebuttals.

#4: Lamar Odom: Would be the go to guy for smoking and getting munchies. Seems like a real chill, laid back guy. Would be the guy to smoke up, and go get those tacos. +1 for always having candies on deck.

#5: Dwight Howard: Could convince him to do anything for a laugh. Probably would round up peoples and go paintball. He'd be a goofball.

From the top of my mind.

Steve Nash has to be #1

Following Steve Nash would be Dirk (Him and Stevey boy have some nice pics on the internet, looks like they know whats up

and Dwight Howard probably.

Personally I'll take
Nash, Dirk, Rose, Kobe

But Nash has to be on everyones list

Hibbert really is an amazingly likable dude, his personality's a big part of why I want him to be in Indy for his entire career. He's intelligent (poly sci BA from Georgetown's no joke), humble, coachable, really any positive adjective you can think of applies. The guy bought 55 season tix and gave them out to fans to create a cheering block that Indy DRASTICALLY needed.
