Let's see how fast i can name 20 players better than Danny:

Lebron, Kobe, Wade, Howard, Melo, Amare, Bosh, Dirk, Rose, Griffin, Joe Johnson, KG, Pierce, Ginobli, Duncan, Durant, Westbrook, Nash, Zach Randolph, Paul, Deron

Yes Kyle Lowry is ridiculously good, and most people don't know about it. He was a top 5 PG during the last 1/3 of the season after Rockets cleared out Aaron Brooks.

Averaged 19/9

doing a countdown that envolved 100 players is extremely difficult. Sure.. the players that are above Wall are somewhat :wtf: but i'm still going to see how the top 50 are going to look like.

Granger is top 25 "i think"

For those building up Wall, HE HASN'T DONE ANYTHING YET. This isn't future potential, its where they are right now this very second as a player. We all know in the near future, Wall will be higher. This list isn't potential or trade value.

@Bone.

Possibly the most valuable player on the Rockets. I'm so high on Kyle Lowry.

He is a defensive pure point guard with exceptional leadership and work ethic. He has improved every season that he has been in Houston. Last season, he learned to shoot and became a threat from downtown. Best part: he is locked into a $24m/4 year contract only 1 year in.

There is no doubt in my mind that Lowry will put the lockout to good use. His growth and skillset has been compared to Billups.

What's your Top 5?

I think its clear Lebron is #1, despite all the hate people give him. He is the best talent in the game right in his prime. Period.

Dirk is not #1, clearly. Just because he won a title, he didn't magically become a better player. He's still in the Top 10 though. Probably 8 - 10 somewhere.

Having watched Ty|Felton|Billups extremely closely I'll never understand why Ty ALWAYS get's the shaft. Maybe it's because Billups has prettier numbers and Felton did as well with the stint in NY. Having watched all 3 PG's I'd say Ty is the best by a little bit, all tho I can see why people would rank the other 2 above him just not 99% of the time witch seems to happen. Funny seeing Billups at 53 while Ty and Felton hang in the 90's.

Chandler above Lawson is pretty stupid, even if it's one spot. AA being higher than Lawson is dumb and Gallo is also another questionable move. AA's def good at what he does but at this point think Lawson's better and Gallo has a case. Nene is ridiculously overrated at 24. Guy's like Steph Curry, Rondo, Granger should be ahead of him. He's not even the undisputed best player on the Nuggets and it looks like buddy gave him for credit for there success. You could argue like 2-3 guy's had the same amount of impact on his own team.

Top 100 list is going to be extremely subjective. Thought I'd throw my 2 cents in with guy's I watched for 70+ games.

Amare and Melo are definitely too low. They're not very good defenders, but not significantly worse than some who he has above them, but they are significantly better offensive players than some of those same players.

This list is oooooooooooooooooooooooover.

I'll give you one small example of Lowe's bias or simply being out of touch.

Amar’e Stoudemire (No. 19) often struggles on defense and on the glass. his rebounding reached career-low territory on a team that ranked 26th in defensive rebounding rate — a team in desperate need of boards.

(Dirk Nowitzki) has been the centerpiece of very good NBA offenses for a long time now, a titan of plus/minus, a smart defender and a good rebounder.

Now the facts:

Dirk 7.0 RPG in 34:17 MPG, Career 8.4 RPG in 36:30 MPG
Amare 8.2 RPG in 36:47 MPG, Career 8.8 RPG in 34:36 MPG

But Dirk is a good rebounder and Amare isn't.........smh............

He's basing it just on how they are right now. Not on the future, or what they get paid, or value, or chamionships, or their team situation. Just how good they are individually right now.

I would LA is a better rebounder than Amare, passer, defender, basically everything outside of scoring/shooting.

Over Blake, but only for last year. I think Griffin's better whenever next season starts.

:lol Zach Lowe? Is that you?

And for the record:

Career rebounding #'s:

Amare 8.8 RPG in 34.6 MPG
L.A. 7.5 RPG in 34.8 MPG

Ouch.

At least the top 10 looks good as far as the criteria he used.

Both sides of the ball, the top 10 is exceptional to solid on defense, and all are very good scorers.

Yeah, I agree about Aldridge and Amare. Amare just does so many things wrong intangibly, and really isn't a ton worse statistically easier. I also think that it's easier to make an effective offense around a legit low post player like Aldridge then Amare. Especially when he's as versatile as Aldridge, and Amare has kind of evolved strictly into an isolation player, who kind of blocks his team mates out completely.
