Also, just cause you're using the 808 it doesn't mean that your music will sound like everybody else's, it just means that the sound may be more recognizable. But the main problem that I see (I could be wrong), is that you'll start to sound like the other stuff without trying to do so.

They're both classics. Of course the 808 is gonna get spoken about, it was used a lot in hip-hop. The Linn was more in the pop/R&B field.

Roger linn made some good shit no doubt, my crew has an ULTRArare mpc 3000 roger linn edition. Super dope.

You should get the "maschine" by native instruments bro. The more I **** with it the more I'm sold.

I've only performed live twice. But hopefully later this year things will change. I'm not an artist in that vein. I songwrite and produce. I do have an artist I'm working with hopefully will get her out by years end.

This Rhythm King is very neat though. Various preset drum patterns. Timmy Thomas did the track Why Can't We Live Together using it.
