View Full Version : Does Lebron feel bad?

I mean, don't you think he's just wondering, 'dayum, Carmelo has Iverson, Wade has Shaq. When am i going to get my veteran legend?' The Cavs are in desperate need of a roster makeover. do i hear KG to the cavs for hughes, Z, snow, cash and draft picks? gibson seems solid and would take over the 1. Lebron and KG would dominate and give the East some firepower.

LBJ >>>>>Wade and Carmelo

LeBron will do it himself in time

it took MJ a while...but eventually he developed a mid-range game and got better teammates, the same will happen for LeBron. And once he does get teammates, watch out, because LBJ is much more unselfish than MJ was.

I have a hard time seeing the Wolves trading KG for a bunch of old guys that won't get them any closer to contention, as opposed to some younger blood and more draft picks. Just doesn't make any sense. Although Bron and KG wuold be pretty sweet to watch.

Nahh. VC and LeBron will not get along. VC will jack up shots, LeBron will get mad, and one will get traded. kinda what I see happening in a month or 2 with AI and Melo

Lakerz_Forever
12-25-2006, 01:50 AM
MTing, i'll have to disagree. I think AI and Melo will get along on and off the hardwood. Like Tim Legler kept reminding us, Carmelo is not a 'ball stopper', one dribble, pull up, swish. Though it will be a problem as to who will take the last shot in pressure situations in which it will most likely be given to Melo with his deadly drop step jumper.

VC will be a great fit wherever he goes. Having two of the best passing guards in the game is crazy.

Lebron + Carter = better Cavs team than today.

I guess your right. I believe AI can be a distributer and leaving Melo being to #1 scoring option.

Haha thanks for being so nice to me and just giving him a cold hard NO.

yeah, he'z not like steve nash with his assists, but he can dish the rock. just in philly the only finisher was Iggy and was not that involved in the offense. There are so many finishers in Denver, Melo obviously topping the list. But Smith, Camby, etc etc. Just so many. He did have 10 assists in his first game, but like Iverson fanatics, i'm not going to overrate his passing abilities. there'z a reason for that. I'm a Kobe fanatic. :D

lol no problem, any time.

I will not be suprised if they get together on some previously awful team that saw it coming and got some space ready. That or Shaq goes out and Lebron steps in to sign when the 30 million comes off the cap and Miami has prepared for it.

watching Lebron's Cavs on national TV the lsat two times they were on, I realized damn they suck. Their team is just poorly built, the supposed "help" they added before last season-- Donyell Marshall, Damon Jones, Larry Hughes just either doesn't fit the team or sucks. The best contributor on the team besides Lebron is like Drew Gooden or Anderson Varejo. The team is horrible.

You can start to see the frustration and the weight take a toll on Lebron too. I remember reading an ESPN article a week or two ago about how Lebron said he's getting tired faster and more usual than years past, hence the drop in stats. He's averaging 26, 6 and 6 right now but everyone is wondering "what's up with Lebron he's off". hahaha that's how good he is. I drafted him in Fantasy and I must admit, I'm a bit disappointed with his 26,6 and 6 too... anyone else, 26 6 6 is a career year, for Lebron, I consider it to be an off year but I don't blame him, he's tired. The weight load is just too big.

Team wouldnt suck if they had a facilitator instead of a player trying to score a large amount of buckets. Tell Lebron the people never cared that he could drop 30pts a game they care how he got everyone involved and was a playmaker. Soon as Bron starting going on a scoring surge then the Cavs dont look as good as the excuses "well his team just sucks" is being thrown out there. Look at the franchise player. He's the problem. Look at the HC. He's the problem. Simple.

VC will not be a good fit on the CAVs.. lebron + VC = all offense and no defense..

and even with the two, they still can't outscore teams like Nuggets, Mavs, Suns...

what Lebron need is a player like Boozer which they gave up a few years ago.. bad mistake by the CAVs... also I think Cav fans shouldn't give up on Hughes.. although, if he is so injury prone, they might as well trade him while he still has some kind of trade value...

as for people saying Bron makes other players better... i am starting to doubt that as well.. sure Bron gets 8-9 assists each game, but that doesn't really mean he makes them better players.. Gooden has not gotten any better, Z is declining, D.Jones is still just a 3-point specialist and has gotten worse as a shooter since joining the Cavs, Hughes production isn't all that different that what he did with the Wizards, in fact, his production has gotten worse as well...

the only way Bron is gonna sniff anywhere near an NBA title soon is if they can bring some younger players, tough defensive minded players...

Do you know how to read? No one is discrediting the team. But Lebron was far from carried. And the bench didn't step up until the Finals. Lebron did the heavy lifting easily for that Heat team.

Most posters here looks at stats and say, "uh wade sucked this year, bosh didn't play like his usual self." What posters fail to realize is that they couldn't play normal because Lebron has the ball in his hands all the time. Some ppl say Lebron is the most effective with the ball but I kinda doubt that. If you gave wade or bosh as many possessions as Lebron they would be putting up their normal stats.

Also.......The Bench carried the heat game 7. Hell, Mike Miller carried the heat. 7 3's. C'mon :coleman:

No one said Wade sucked. He didn't play up to his standards because he was HURT. He wasn't able to consistently play like 2011 Wade. He had some suck games and nice Finals series. But he wasn't healthy enough to be relied on to takeover all the time. Why don't you understand that? And Bosh missed the whole 2nd round and most of the ECF.

Wade is always hurt. Yes Bosh missed a lot of games. "BUT" when they did have a lot of big moments. Chalmers and Battier had multiple 20 point games. Bosh's D and rebounding. I think haslem had two 10 14+rebound games. Wade had a 40+ game. Lebron's scoring and rebounding wasn't carrying the team godly either.Although Lebron's passing was on another level.

All in all I'm saying, Lebron had more then enough help to win it all this year.

He definitely had plenty of help in the Finals. But he sure as hell wasn't carried. Him and Wade beat Indiana by themselves for one thing. Its revisionist history to think the bench played well throughout the playoffs. They dominated in the Finals. Don't get me wrong. But they were crap until that series for the most part. Haslem's double double against Boston in game 3 or 4 was probably the best performance off the bench. So yes, he had the squad to win a championship. But carried? No.

If I was Lebron I would tell Houston to get rid of Asik and Lin and Parsons and have him come over

houston would do it in a heart beat

then Miami would have

Chalmers/Lin(6th man)
Wade/Allen
Parsons/whatever
Bosh/Haslem
Asik/Oden

while Houston gets

Beverly/Tony Douglas
Harden/3pt shooter specialist
Lebron/whatever
That energy guy/whatever
Dwight

Bosh gets to play with a real big man and Lebron gets to continue winning championships win win
