No other sketch comedy show has come close since. Yes, I think it was even funnier than the Chapelle show( although I like the Chapelle show). Even still, the amount of talent this show was crazy......

this show kinda sucks to be honest. even "James Carrey" isn't that funny in it. It is nowhere near as funny as Chappelle get real. Kids in the Hall was a way better show that should be aired instead.

sadly dude, Bagel Red above is right. The Wayans basically just spent a decade shitting out endless piles of turds and passing them off as movies to their loyal fans (not unlike Tyler Perry).

there are a ton of talented black people in comedy and the opportunities were few (with Tim Meadows and Chris Rock filling up SNL's quota) so this outlet was bound to spin off some successful careers. Think of it as a Second City or Groundlings for black talent.

Sadly though after Jim Carrey and Jamie Foxx who ya got? number three is David Alan Grier, I like him but he is hardly a superstar...the talent on this show was grossly over-exaggerated, but I guess you could say Jennifer Lopez counts because she was a dancer, but that is kind of like putting Paula Abdul on the Lakers...doesn't count.

all 3 shows (kids in the hall, in living color, chappelle's show) were great sketch comedy shows. the extra points were the music they played on a regular basis between sketches. for this category, in living color played better music, but chappelle's show comes close, but doesn't beat ILC.

I like Dave Chapelle a lot, but I never understrood the love for that show. Some things were great, some were decent. For me, there was the occasional incredible moment and then no flow to the show.



In Living Color is just awesome. He have 18 job.
