ISH Poll: Dirk, Wade, Dwight or LeBron

This is just a Poll on what the majority of ISH thinks. No arguments, just type who YOU think is the best player right now since one of these four players are usually considered the best players in the league. It would be nice to see everyone vote.

This is the first time since 2008 it is a 4+ player race for the best player in the league, back in '08 it was between Kobe, LeBron, KG, and CP3 and in '09 and '10 it was just between Wade, LeBron, and Kobe.

I think it's pretty obvious this season that Wade was better then Lebron. He outplayed him in all but the Bulls series, and was the best player in the NBA finals. Really after watching these playoffs, I don't get how people can say Lebron is better then Wade. He just wasn't as good, plain and simple, and they were basically neck and neck even in the regular season too.

I am trying very hard to contemplate why the thought of LeBron not being the best overall player in 2010-11 should be that questionable?
Let me elaborate this time with just a few notable facts, in no particular order:


-He had the highest PER - 27.3 and NBA EFF, aka. he accumulated the best numbers aka. "played-performed-produced better than anybody".


-Had the 2nd highest PPG average (26.7).


-Had the most triple-doubles


-1st Team All-NBA


-1st All-Defensive Team


-Accumulated only the 2nd All-Star triple double in NBA history.

-Had 522 MVP votes (four 1st votes), would have won the MVP if it wasnt for Bosh & Wade.

-Had the most Player of the Month awards/trophies.


-Was yet again one of the Top performers in the Clutch (http://www.82games.com/1011/CSORT11.HTM)

-Was the Eastern Conference Champion and was the most productive player to this point amongst all the active players in the Playoffs with astounding clutch performances on both ends of the floor.


-Took his team to its first Playoff series wins and first NBA Finals since 06, unfortunately lost 4-2 to the Mavericks.

He broke yet again a big sum of "youngest to" records (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_career_achievements_by_LeBron_James).


-He became one of two players in NBA history to average at least 26 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for six consecutive seasons. (The other is only Oscar Robertson)


And if you believe that any attempt to attribute team impact, player value, team success to individual players is an abomination, then read no further:


-He was 1st in Winshares (15.6)


-He was 1st in Offensive Winshares


-He was 2nd in Defensive Winshares


Now i know he didnt perform up to his standards against the Mavs, but does that honestly foreshadow we should actually dispatch the rest of his accomplishments in 2010-11?
Sure he didnt manage to get some icing (championship) on top of the cake this year, but the cake is still there and it overall piled up to being somewhat bigger than mosts i would say.

How likely is it that 3 accounts all with under 60 posts and similar names all post the same thing in the same thread within 2 minutes of each other? Seems a little suspicious no? Especially combined with the fact that you're right there immediately to count them. Almost as if one person was actually controlling those accounts...LOL
