What? The current efficiency of solar panels is somewhere around 20%. On top of that, is it always sunny? The amount of light those things receive varies depending on the weather and a number of other things. Same goes for wind power. They can be contribute to the power we use, but in no way is it possible for us to be entirely dependent on them. There's got to be a better means for fuel. Hopefully hydrogen makes strides toward being a viable alternative, but I really don't know.

Pretty sure he accounts for the expected increase by 2030. Regardless, the idea that solar is so far removed from being viable is obsolete, even if these are just projections based on calculation.
