MJ also sent the Bobcats only all-star Gerald Wallace for peanuts. Wallace's contract expires this season and he wasnt even making much. He also sent Tyson packing to save money and let Felton walk for free. This off season we saw them send packing their best overall player in Jax as well. MJ has a pretty bad resume and he really need Biyombo and Kemba to turn into really good players.

Morrison has bulked up. He could do well for himself in Europe. Another NBA team might add him to their bench, I still think he can contribute somewhere.

Let's wait to see if he makes it to a bigger club and then see how he does. Perfect example is Keselj. He was doing fairly well in Red Star, yet in Olympiacos he is a total scrub.
The jury is out on Morrison in Europe until he lands in a bigger club. Until then we can't judge if he will make a good career in Europe or not.
Red Star is too small of a club to judge him properly at this point.

Watching his game right now and I feel like I'm watching him back at Gonzaga. Draining Js all over the place, working in the post, and making great cuts. 21 points in 3 quarters on 8/10 from the field. Crowd going crazy every time he scores.

He should do well in FIBA. It's more a college style game, which he excelled when he was in college.

Idk about staying if he gets some better offer next season.
I guess they won't make it to the Euroleague because they'd have to beat Partizan in our national league which certainly ain't easy to do. Eurocup seems like more realistic competition for them.

I do not know much about the level of competition for which he is playing, but I'm just glad and hopeful he's able to find success somewhere in some form. I'm pulling for him.

The level of competition doesn't matter. He just have to prove himself that he belong on a basketball court and that he's not a last man on the bench. With this, he'll be able to come back in the NBA

As far as I know they would have to win the Serb championship to do so. That means they would have to beat Partizan in the playoffs, which is extremely unlikely.
If he wants to play in the Euroleague he will have to have a really good year in Adriatic League and then he should be able to sign with a Euroleague club next season.
He would probably have to start off in a smaller Euroleague club first though.

Actually, if you play in a regional league, plus a European league.....it's more playing than NBA is.
You get about 80 games during the season, plus 2 practices on each non travel off day, and even one practice on most travel days.
So teams like Partizan, Maccabi...there are several teams in Europe that play more basketball than NBA teams do during the year.
On the other hand, if you are just playing only in a small domestic league, without many teams, like Greece, Russia and do not play in a European league - something like that, then you are playing a lot less.
But that is not true in all cases at all.

I concur. I too 100% sympathize with Ammo..Those moments are amongst some of the worst for an introverted.
