We're doing a Snake draft! So the last pick will automatically get the first pick in the next round.

Waiting Period: Will be 8 hours for each pick. If you have a back to back pick, you only get an extra hour, which makes it a combine 9 hours for those of you who don't understand mathematics.

I think adding some shonen characters would've made things interesting. The anime draft looks like its run pretty poorly so I doubt that will succeed. You need a list or else someone will find a way to inevitably bend the rules.

After we are done drafting, pm the commish (boogie) with a list numbered 1-8. For each slot place one person on your team in said slot. You can though, place more than one person in a slot. This is called trumping, when you trump one slot gains extra persons but another slot must be left empty (there is no limit, but rarely do you see it go past 2).

Then Boogie will list out all the matchups for us. We'll all see our round one opponents. Something for instance, My team: Wolverine v. your team: Cyclops. We (you and I) would then argue why our person should win. If at the end you and I tie (in all out match ups) 4-4 we go to a team battle, where we would then argue why our overall team is better and basically lay out a strategy. This is why a lot of the participants pick all goodies or all baddies on our teams. If you have a team made up of both good and bad, judges may feel that your team would not be able to work with each other w/out some in fighting among your team. Others, say F*ck team battles, and draft the best available.

But basically all you do is turn in your #'s and then argue as the match ups are posted.


dang i'd lose in the argument part, unless its a clear mismatch. anyway i think zen mentioned in the other thread it will be 5 characters instead of 8, but i could be wrong.

Two people working together will either help or hurt each other based on their past behavior and skill/power set. Its not unreasonable to think that the Hulk would be a candidate for a ring.

The Apoc thing, thats just kind of random.. Unless, in a past storyline its specifically something that has happened.

Its really about how logical or plausible it is for what you are suggesting to happen..

I don't mean rule bending in a negative way.. I kind of like the idea of drafting two people that one could enhance the seconds abilities. As long as some kind of precedence has been established in the comics. And it seems like it's much harder to do, you have to know what you're doing with the two characters or get lucky enough for them to drop to you.

I have five in mind right now; that's not even the hand full i think can be beasts if they were to fight to their potential. Take Elixir for example (not one of the five i'm thinking of, btw), i think he can be a game changer if he was pushed to it. From recent comics he's on the verge of being such a character.

So far i think bj, zen and myself have the best combo of power/lack of cohesion issues(bj has some guys who dont work well with others but they are all of the same ethos and doom is a great leader) iamgine has great imdividuals but i cant see orion and onslaught getting along. Timmy depends on who he picks here... Im not saying anything bad about everyone else, those are just the ones who stand out to me so far
