Karl 'The Mailman' Malone highlights throughout his Hall of Fame Utah Jazz career. Several years of gathering footage and now I feel I made a mix worthy of the man:

Yikes, yeah. I was expecting it to be the famous one on Robinson where Malone then frantically pumps up the crowd. This one you speak of at the 3:30 mark may have been dirtier (in a good way).

Anyway, Prodigy, very well done and I agree, Memo is the man. I favorited this video so I could show it to my little brothers the next time I see them. They've been using 1998 Malone in NBA 2K12 over the past few weeks, where he's nastiest from mid-range with his face-up jumper. I think they'll be interested in seeing young Karl Malone thrashing through folks so they better understand what he was in his prime. This past weekend I was just running them through his career stats because they asked who was better: Tim Duncan or Karl Malone.

:applause: Good job man. Very entertaining mix.

What makes malone so great is that he was very skilled, yet played dirty and gritty at times.

Though with Barkley it was more of a "yeah we're boys but we're both fired up right now" thing.

Great player. Glad I got to see him play. I don't get how he and some of the other greats get so much negativity from the 'tards on this site. Some guys here think Beasley is better than Dominique or Rasheed Wallace was better than K. Malone..it's sad.

Rodman never stepped to him. Not that I remember anyway. Annoying him on the court and stepping to him are two different things.

Magic got pissed at him for something during a game and started yelling and getting in his face.

I went on the assumption of this comment:

"nah dat was on sum "boy ill dump yo muh****in ass" type shit, not gay." by paulandj

Malone never did retaliate... so I guess it worked... Or he was shocked at the fact of how gay it was...

A lot of the phyical play between rodman and malone was initiated by rodman. He definately never ran from malone. And he definatly frustrated malone

But Malone wasn't fake tough guy..He was smart enough to stay in game unlike Mourning and other tough guys.

Haven't watched the video but I'm guessing it didn't show how Malone got so many of his points - setting up deep and just going up for a layup.

That's why his game "seemed" soft. He doesn't really post up and dribble his way for a hookshot. He just gets deep position, gets a pass from Stockton, and uses his build to get his shot off.

I would of hated to see the Jazz win a championship. Didn't like their style of play, didn't like Malone or Stockton.

Even if anyone hates on him for personal issues or 'failures' under pressure, he was undeniably a powerful power forward in his physical prime. And I pretty much consider his post 95 seasons out of his physical prime, but into his skillful prime.

I'll alway LOL when Malone hits the ISH threads... most of you never saw him play , and if you did it was his last few years , were some of the brutal play was frowned upon.

Malone was typical college player that knew to play in the war style defensive game of the 90's NBA he needed to work like he was in the NFL.

It was after Malone , that Jordan and others hit the weight room as hard as Karl.
Low post play was physical as all heII and even though Stockton and Malone never got a ring , they're one of the teams that ran into the Bulls.
If it wasn't for Jordan and Pip - Malone and Stockton would of probably had back to back championships.

Bottom line if you ask any franchise if they could have a proto type of Malone (they would all raise their hands)
