KG doesn't even belong in the top 20, IMO, let alone the top 10.
Really, Kobe's reached a point where it's pretty futile to argue that he's not one of the 10 greatest ever.

Kobe Cryant! His last championship sealed him in Top10 All-time. Sure there are players in Top11-20 who could be considered greater than Kobe, however none of them can match him with accolades, and it matters in such lists.

Michael Jordan, Wilt Chamberlain, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, and Bill Russell are just a few names that come up when people discuss the best to ever play the game of basketball.
Recent players to enter the conversation are Hakeem Olajuwon, Shaquille O'Neal, Tim Duncan, Charles Barkley, and Karl Malone. Then, of course, there is Kobe Bryant
but anyways... i have to say this Top 10 is PERFECT... except i would switch only Magic with Wilt at least......

pauk who do you have higher, kobe or lebron? also it doesn't really matter who 10 is because durant will be bumping them down after he surpasses them on his way to the top 3 over the next decade

what do you mean who i have higher? in terms of career? lol.. kobe ofcourse? i have kobe at #11 and arguably #10... i wouldnt be mad even if he was #9... lebron has not done enough to match kobe... waaay to early for that... but i think lebron has done more than enough to be in Top 20 absolutely....
my top 20 list looks like this:
1. jordan
2. wilt
3. kareem
4. russell
5. bird
6. magic
7. shaq
8. oscar
9. duncan
10. hakeem

Kobe has got this but I personally have big o at 10. I'm fine with Kobe here though and he can be anywhere from 8-13 IMO. Not higher than 8th though. Also, OP, if you counted the Kobe votes for number one, you better count the Lebron voted for number 10. Be consistent.

Clearly don't listen to him since anyone voting for Lebron at this point is either an extreme fanboy or just doesn't care. RRR3 is still just complaining about something that went on 9 threads ago just put him on ignore or something.

Inconsistency he has since gotten rid of by listing the consensus top 10-12 before voting for each member of the top 10

Why should he count the LeBron vote if LeBron isn't a candidate in his list? He didn't have the candidate list in the first one, so he is being consistent.

since everyone just usually laughs at you and dismisses your garbage as the ravings of a delusional idiot im actually gonna bite here.... do you care to tell eveyone why and what exactly the ish majority has against kobe, where it has come from and whats motivating it. you say "elitist" fans like its a negative thing. the fact that we watch more nba than regular fans just qualifys us better no? i mean if you ran this poll on a site full of people that just watch a few games a year, like nba.com they would naturally vote kobe higher cause thats who they have seen and recognise, thats commen sense right?
so what exactly is your reasoning for why (you say) ish has it in for kobe and weve all ganged up to vote him lower than he belongs....

the only people who would laugh at my overall fingerprint on the game of basketball are the skewed elitist fan or the basketball illiterate....
wich one are you?....
I have leagues named after me....i have more impersonators then Elvis....I got more basic fundamental understanding and basketball sense then the whole United Kingdom combined (not really saying much....but whateva's:confusedshrug: )
when a majority is polled and the answers are overwhemingly in favor of one certain path.....then another very small % is polled and it shows quite clearly a sharp agenda....it doesn't require much sight..
clearly a small percentage of basketball fans who roam basketball online basketball sites 24/7 slight Kobe for bieng so great.....I would suggest IMHO that online sites have a higher concentration of fans who think they are elite and better then the average fan....
Slighting Kobe with mathmatical formula's and calculus puts the image in thier mind that they are "elite" or "underground"....or "hardcore" fans......Kobe is clearly the greatest player of his generation and a top 5 alltime player and easily the most popular/polarizing player in the last 15 years....
Elitist fans are the worst in sports.....waiting for every opportunity to show the world how elite they are... in this case.....going against the majority vote and slighting Kobe......

just as i suspected, you have no reasoning or logic for your argument, just a reiteration of the fact that you think because people on this forum have voted kobe as the no.10 player of alltime it means we have an agenda against him, youve been around here long enough to have atleast formed some kind of explination for why ish has this irrational hatred towards kobe yet you offer nothing:facepalm. the only reason you give is that its "eliteist/hardcore snobbery against kobe" yet you have no reason for why its only against kobe
kobe isnt clearly the greatest player of his generation he is arguably the greatest along with shaq/duncan, and they are the only ones above him in this poll. i think we can say that... you are a bit bias no?:oldlol:
