I'm going to go against the flow and vote Dwyane Wade. Wade will probably lose to Lebron though. I don't agree with Lebron being ranked above Wade, but I do understand the arguments for Lebron.

Yes, I'm 100% certain about Baylor over LeBron.
At the moment, LeBron only has 75% as many points and 39% as many rebounds as Baylor.
Meanwhile, Baylor has 3 more All-League 1st Team selections and Baylor played in 4 more All-Star Games.
In the future, LeBron will overtake Baylor (if he avoids injury), but for now you have to say Baylor had the better overall career.

This is a hard list to make since most of us haven't seen all the greatest players. So we remember the ones we've seen or just look at stats blindly and/or choose whoever is more talked about and brought up by an older gan. I think just a top 10 or 15 list would be better. Atleast the top 10 is players are more argued about and recognized.People are more aware of their accomplishments etc. Now we have people thinking pippen>baylor and isiah which is kinda dumb. But to each his own.

Yes, you do have a pro-Lebron agenda, stop pretending like you don't.
In all honestly Lebron SHOULD be top 20, the reality is that the crop of power forwards between 15-18 has skewed the list, especially Dirk who, as much as I love as a player, is not top 20. I'd have him somewhere in the 22-25 slot myself. If I was ranking the list myself, the top 15 are more or less right, give or take a swap of positions here and there. I would have Barkley at 15, Malone at 16, Baylor 17, Admiral 18, Lebron 19. And, Lebron while he's already accomplished alot, has plenty of time to move up the list, which by the way is completely subjective and people are using different criteria for their voting rationale. You need to get over yourself, how the **** can a SUBJECTIVE list really be a right or wrong choice? None of this shit is ****ing gospel, chill the **** out. And no, I didn't change the subject. I asked a simple god damn question, for every post from now on which doesn't have Lebron as the answer, you're going to go on your own personal crusade to respond? Whatever works for you.
Anyways, Elgin Baylor.

The common theme I see in these picks is that every guy has a full career's worth of work to judge. Now, guys like Kobe, KG, Duncan, etc are still playing, but they've got 13-15 years under their belts, these guys legacies are more or less secured already, maybe another title will bump them up the list, but their place in history is more or less secure. Lebron is still writing his legacy, and yes because he accomplished alot very young and very quick, it's tough to accurately measure him because for all purposes, he could pull a Grant Hill tomorrow. I think at the bottom of the top 20 list is a reasonable spot for a guy that's played 8 seasons. In fact, it's a compliment that he's ranked this high over guys who've played full careers and accomplished lots in their own right. The main thing though, the guys in 16-20 are pretty much interchangeable( same with 1-5, 6-10, 11-15, it's not like there's a lot that separates them). Again, this is all subjective and everyone has their own voting criteria.

Sure... But for Grant Hill it was different, lebron has accomplished already Much more... i couldnt care less who is Young or not... As long as the player has the resume... Which lebron has..

I'm not disputing who has done more, obviously Lebron's achievement list crushes what Hill did from 1994-2000. My main point is that Lebron at this stage is a bit of a difficult one to rank, especially since he's only halfway through his career. YES, he's accomplished tons already but it's fair, in my opinion, to let his career play out more before ranking him over guys who have a career's worth of work to measure. It's not just about the stats and achievements in a bubble, it's about sustained excellence over a 13 year career. Lebron has time on his side, at 26, so it's reasonable to assume he'll be much higher on the GOAT list 5 years from now. Again though, I should stress that this is SUBJECTIVE. Hell if you wanted to do a 'GOAT list for players first 8 seasons', Lebron's probably top 6. My voting is based on the totality of one's career over 13-14 years, and for the record Lebron is my next voting pick, AHEAD of guys like Isiah, Stockton, who have their own FULL standout careers.

seriously, did you watch the '06 Finals?
yes.. im sure 4-6 games all of the sudden boosts him from #55 to #18.... :facepalm
and if u want ONLY Finals performance, then where is Wade? Wade had a better career than Dirk aswell...

im not sure what 4-6 games has to do with a CAREER RESUME............ :confusedshrug: At the end of the day Dirk has NOT accomplished more than Lebron or even WADE.... hence he does NOT deserve to be ranked higher than Lebron..... Dirk has been a much less significant player than them, he was NEVER a top 3 player.... and last year before he won a championship he was not even a TOP 10 player in the league....
if you are using that logic to bring Dirk above all-time (or any player)..... you must be the most stupid human being in ISH history... seriously...

Lebron has played 8 seasons, he still has lots of time, so dont get too butthurt over theses rankings for now
i dont care how many seasons he played.... i dont care how much time he has..... as long as he has the RESUME already... which he has!!
so please just stop with that lame excuse to why you dont want lebron (who you hate) to be ranked here....
We here rank the players with the best RESUME / ACCOMPLISHMENTS..... something which Lebron has more than Elgin Baylor at this point in the rankings..... he deserves this place...
i seriously cant believe what i am seeing here.... :facepalm you ALL (99% of you) are a bunch of Lebron haters..... i have proved it more than enough...
im glad DaPercieve made this thread.... it really reveals ISH posters agendas and mindsets, Lebron hater mindsets...... there is no other explanation to why you would rank somebody LESS accomplished above him.... none....
here you sit and act like im some kindof crazy homer.... but it is YOU people who are the ignorant haters... a circle jerk crew of lebron haters.....

It's simple, If Lebron wouldve won the championship, and won Finals MVP, he would easily be top 20, but not only did he not win, he was the reason why they didnt win

Yeah. Since about 2007 or 2008 he's probably close to 50 right now.
The saddest thing, is you probably just saw the number 50 and thought I was exaggerating to make fun of him.

Interesting, but is DaPerceive another one of his accounts or not? Because I noticed he changed his avatar to Wade and I know his swagger account he was going nuts about thread of Wade vs LeBron.
And no I know you weren't exaggerating. I wasn't around here before to see his "RG" account. But now that I found out, it's a bit weird why he keeps doing this. I just wish he stuck to one account. I literally think this whole board his RG sometimes.
I don't have anything against the man though and I don't think he has a problem with me. I think he does with you though and others who like LeBron and Howard, etc...

Yeah, Dapercieve is one of them. The genius used the same name at realgm to start the exact same threads he started here (like that Reggie Miller one) and when he got banned from there, made the same account here.
