With no NBA games to watch I've been getting my NBA fix via NBA 2K12. I just finished making a bunch of fantasy trades to set up my new Association and I thought I might share this one.

How does this deal sound for getting Dwight Howard in a Bulls Uniform?

Three-Way deal between the Bulls, Magic, & Grizzlies

Bulls get:
Dwight Howard
Hedo Turkuglu
& JJ Reddick

Magic get:
Joakim Noakim
Carlos Boozer
Ronnie Brewer
OJ Mayo
1 Bulls First round pick, Charlotte's first round Pick (from Bulls) and the rights to Nikola Mirotic

Memphis gets:
Kyle Korver
Omer Asik
Jimmy Butler
& a Chicago 1st & 2nd round pick

The Bulls create a couple holes in their roster here but there should be plenty cheap Free Agents to fill those spots with the Amnesty clause likely in place.

Clippers top that offer with:

DeAndre Jordan, Chris Kaman, Al-Farouq Aminu, Eric Bledsoe, Minnesota 2012 First Round Pick, $3 Million, Rights to Sofoklis, as many 2nd round picks as needed

For Dwight and Hedo.

Orlando gets a good project point, another potential project stud (Aminu), a plug in big man and DeAndre, whom many are starting to overrated, plus a shot at Andre Drummond.

No way the Bulls give up 5 rotations players and 3 picks for 2.5 players...especially when depth behind Rose is already an issue. Not to mention Dwight could just walk at the end of the season anyway.

There was a thread about this yesterday. I proposed Dwight, Turkoglu and Redick for Noah, Deng, Gibson and the Bobcats pick. I think if Dwight isn't re-signing with Orlando, that's probably the best they can get.

That Clippers offer might be better, but would Dwight want to go to the Clippers? I know they'd have Blake and Gordon, but is that enough to compensate for working for Sterling.

I think OKC and LAL can also make good offers (and he'd prob sign with either one). And if Orlando doesn't trade him (very possible IMO), he's probably going to Brooklyn or New York (or maybe LAC if they have the cap space and a good year).

You'd trade that for Dwight when you could convince him to take a max as a FA AND keep your team intact?

I love that for the Bulls actually. They'd have a rotation of:

Dwight Howard/Asik
Taj Gibson/Hedo
Luol Deng/Kyle Korver
JJ Reddick/Keith Bogans
Derrick Rose/CJ Watson

Edit: Didn't read the ful post. The Bulls would give up Asik and Korver? I don't mind giving up Korver but I would want to keep Asik.

That would make the Magic's starting five;

Nelson
Mayo
Richardson
Boozer
Noah

It kinda lacks starpower but pretty solid overall.

We'd need the cap space. Kaman + Jordan is like $15 million already.

So:

Rose
Reddick
Dunleavy
Gibson/Hedo
Dwight

Payton
Oladipo
Harris
Noah/Boozer
Vucevic

Here goes the nasty:
Conley
Korver/Allen
Butler
Randolph
Gasol/Asik

Memphis would have at least 2 chips by now.
