she is not hideous and I think she would seem cute enough in real life, but she had no business getting that batman role. She is a much better actress than Katie Holmes who is the definition of wooden, but Katie Holmes has the looks to be the leading lady in a blockbuster like Batman, and Maggie does not.

It's kind of like with the Harry Potter kids except for the girl who is very attractive. The guys who play Harry, Ron, and Ginny Weasley just don't have the looks for those roles. It's not that they're bad looking, it's just that you come in with expectations when you see these A-List blockbusters of watching totally gorgeous people--the Christian Bales and Angelina Jolies of the world--and its kind of distracting how those kids are average looking.

She's not ugly by any means but there are much cuter actresses.

And she was an improvement over Katie Holmes in the Batman movies. Not as far as looks, but I actually cared what happened to the character when Maggie G was acting.
