Paul Pierce 21,410 career points
Larry Bird 21,791 career points
Barring nay unforseen circumstances, PP should be passing Larry Legend sometime in February for 2nd all-time on the C's scoring list.
One hell of an accomplishment. Let the countdown begin.

Hope Pierce gets this before all-star break. It would be nice.

Good job by the spambot bumping this. I didn't realize Pierce passed Bird.
- Pierce needs 3,805 more points to become the number one scorer.
- Pierce has played 245 less games.
- Pierce has played 8,686 less minutes.
If Pierce has an average of 17.2 ppg and 74 games per season, he'll get the record in 3 seasons.

It's probably not going to happen. Not because he isn't capable, but a younger talent is going to supersede Pierce as the main scoring option one of the years as the team retools for contention.

Yes, I can't see Pierce taking it.
Rondo, Bradley, and Green (if we sign him) may be the ones to do most of the scoring. Pierce can certainly get his, but I don't see him averaging over 17 PPG.
