Hey, he may be right.

When K-Mart had his surgery it took about a year or two to get back into form. T-Mac may be going through the same thing.

I am not a Lebron Homer. :facepalm

I have lived my entire life in NYC Manhattan and have always been a huge Knick Fan.

I have also been a Shaq fan from 94 onwards and became a Wade fan when I started watching him and Shaq play together in 05 and 06 I really love his game.

So yes I am a Shaq/Wade fan and I dont see anything wrong with that.

I dont hate Kobe either I just hate how overrated he has become and someone has to refute the constant idiocy spewed by his Homer/Stans.

Even if it costs me my Green Bars I will continue to belittle those type of people until my computer frys.

Yea but he has that rare sort of natural skill that even without his athleticism he has much to offer.

If he could even return to 3/4th of his Rockets body he could contribute greatly to anyteam.

I agree with that. I don't see why he didn't have more of an impact on the Pistons. If he gets decent lift on his jumpshots he should still be an effective scorer.

32Dayz
12-03-2011, 09:50 PM
That Pistons team was kind of a mess and I dont think they utilized him correctly.

The whole team was coached poorly and looked disorganized most of the time.

If he was put on a team and given a certain amount of minutes and a well defined role that utilizes him and his skills correctly I think then you could see his real value.

I think he should come off the bench and be a play maker/scorer but in short bursts that way he wont get reinjured and will stay fresh.

eliteballer
12-03-2011, 09:50 PM

Lebron has played a Total of 29182 Minutes in NBA Games.
TMac has played a Total of 31424 Minutes in NBA Games.

Pretty close.

Merged Regular Season + Playoff Minutes.

I never really got to watch Mcgrady in his prime. But as a Piston fan, I was impressed with him last season. Kuester had him running the offense and setting guys up and he did quite well with whatever role he was asked of on the team. Mcgrady would help any contender.

If you watched him in Piston, you could see that his athleticism was slowly starting to come back. He was getting quicker and his hops were coming back. He definitely had a few nice dunks and alley-oops. Obviously it's hard to believe he's 03 TMac, but I really think he's going to surprise those who think he's done.

15.0 ppg on 48%

Book it.No you "book it" I've seen this movie with T-Mac too many times. He'll have to play 50 plus games at least 20 minutes a game before I have any faith in this guy being back. Until then this is just another off season where we hear how great T-Mac looks and gets all hyped up then falls flat on his face.

I like T-Mac for the most part. He was a talent at one time but he's been beaten down by too many injuries and when he's not injured he's displayed little to no heart or love for the game.

He has a reputation for being soft, a locker room downer/malcontent, and not playing hard all the time.

It's not just people picking on him at this point, he's earned that rep.

I think he can still be effective as a player if he can somehow re adapt his game since his body is different and older.

MJ (though he didn't have the same injuries as Tmac) readjusted his game when he came to play in 95-98. I don't see how Tmac couldn't do the same thing either.

sure, but thats not the same thing as being cautious about injuries.

you can be a shitty teammate, and be careful with injuries, and the two things be unrelated.

i find it hard to criticize a player for not risking his career by playing 'through pain'.
