I'm taking Bulls over Grizzlies in 6 games in the 2012 NBA finals. In the conference finals I got Bulls over Heat in 7 and Grizzlies over Thunder in 6 with a healthy Rudy Gay killing it this year.

Heat V Lakers.
Kobe's last chance of a title, Lakers have a magical run to the decider, knocking off Thunder in 6. Miami cruise through the East, before again knocking off the Bulls in 5 to reach the final. ESPN goes ballistic with stories on whether Lebron will finally win that title, or if Kobe will equal MJ's title count. Kobe lovers go nuts saying Kobe is better than MJ. Lebron fans claim the King will surpass Bryant with this one title over him.

Heat win in 6 with the home court. Wade gets FMVP.

Apparently Dallas won't have Tyson Chandler (from what I hear), so it would be VERY tough for Dirk to carry the Mavs that far again without a dominant big like TC.

people are underrating the bulls i think. that series was closer than most 5 gaames series are. and you nkow rose will come back a better player after this extra long off-season, and they should be able to attract some extra piece or two in the coming weeks.

despite all of that, i think the heat will get passed them, but i wont be surprised to see the bulls in he finals.

Unbiased view cause I'm a huge Bulls fan:

Taking everything into account I don't see how OKC doesn't come out of the West. They are young and now experienced, and the youth is huge because of the compressed schedule. Lakers are old and there center is injury prone and the Mavs are old and aren't bringing back some key players. OKC will have the legs, chemistry, and experience.

For the East its between the Heat, Bulls, Celtics, and Knicks. Celtics are old. Knicks don't play any defense and still might suffer from not playing a full season together. The Bulls are one two guard away from really improving themselves, but even as a huge fan I have be honest and say that I'm not sure enough that the improvement will be enough to beat the Heat who should have improved chemistry.

So then its the Heat and OKC. On paper the Heat should win, but I could easily see a repeat of the last two years with Lebron. With that being said, I have a VERY hard time thinking that this Heat team won't win at least 1 title and this should be there best chance because of Wade getting older and most likely more injury prone as he ages, and with Lebron having a decline in athleticism. I'll say the Heat in 6.

If Dallas can strike a deal with Chandler then they'll be in the mix again I would think.

Unless the Lakers land Dwight Howard, I don't see them coming out of the West. That spot, belongs to OKC based on the following: youth, skills, heart, more experience than last year, and Kevin Durant.

As previously stated, the East is going to be tougher to predict. The favorites, of course, are the axis of evil from Miami. If the Bulls can pull off a decent signing at the shooting guard spot that can help Rose in scoring, and if Boozer actually shows up to play ball, Bulls take it in seven from the heat.

The third, most likely scenario, however, is that whichever team lands The White Mamba will guarantee a spot in the finals, and a championship trophy in their display case.

the last lockout the Knicks scraped into the playoffs and scraped into the Finals. I think something wacky will happen. Not like the Cavs winning the title, but something like the Grizzlies making the Finals or the Pacers making the ECF.

Chris Bosh performs at a 20-10 level throughout the playoffs.

Kevin Durant and Westbrook put up a good fight all the way through the finals until the 4th quarter of Game 7 where Dwyane Wade pulls a 2006 and just takes over.

This thread was before CP3 trade and a million other things. I didn't expect Zbo to be out so long etc... and I talked trash because the Grizzlies became an enemy in my eyes. Never said Grizzlies were bad or anything just that after all the Clippers acquisitions they didn't match up that well with the Clippers which was right.
