Chicago sounds like possible future fate of the Spanish power forward
The Bulls could offer Korver and Boozer in exchange for Pau Gasol

When it seemed that the calmer waters down to Pau Gasol in the Lakers after his trade to the Hornets vetoed a new rumor puts into question the future of Spanish in purple and gold.

The Bulls, the team stronger bid for Pau Gasol when he was just the Grizzlies before being traded to the Lakers, it appears that returns to the charge by the Spanish years later.

As reported in the web 'gather.com', and that includes 'tubasket.com' Bulls Lakers study provide the shooter Kyle Korver and burly Carlos Boozer in exchange for the Spanish power forward.

For this hypothetical materialize Pau Gasol transfer form one of the best interiors of the NBA partners with Noah (a complementary player in the style of Spanish) and share a dressing room with Derrick Rose, the youngest MVP in NBA history.

This rumor comes just days after the exclusive interview Pau Gasol in Mark in which he confessed his desire to follow in the Lakers: "retire on the Lakers was my intention. I understand that I decide, of course (laughs) but from the first day I got my intention was to fulfill my contract. I honor what I sign. And if you have to go get out of here, I will be the player I've always been. There is no more. "

I don't see why LA would do that. I'm not a fan of Gasol (mainly because of his mental shortcomings), but there is no denying that he is very skilled, and he could find himself playing in our system. He should be worth more than Boozer+Korver, though.

As much as I hated Boozer in last years playoffs, I wouldn't like parting with him, I've sort of gotten attached to him, his screaming on the court, bobblehead kinda movement whenever he (or Rose) dunks it..

I like his fire.

Then again, whenever I see him fail on defense I just :facepalm

Terrible trade for the Lakers. They need perimeter defenders and if they aren't gonna get them, they should do Bynum+Pau for Howard straight up (if Orlando is ready and willing).

Korver is a juicy add on to the trade but if I'm a Lakers fan I'm crossing my fingers in hopes that this is merely just a rumor. This may arguably be a fair trade on paper but I just can't get over Boozers lackluster performance in last years playoff run. My respect for his game plummeted to new lows...

Lakers should just trade one of Pau or Odom to get a serviceable PG and SF. That way you can trade one of them to fix your glaring weaknesses but still have the other to secure length/versatility in your frontcourt.

No but seriously, this is terrible for the Lakers. Why would we want Carlos Boozer who chokes even harder in the playoffs and is less skilled than Pau Gasol (no offense Bulls fans). I also wouldn't be able to watch more than a quarter of a game because I'd probably get a headache from all the yelling he does.

12-21-2011, 02:28 PM
It might actually not be that far-fetched. I read somewhere that there were rumors that Gasol is still very upset about the trade and might want a trade. Boozer had a disappointing year, but he is a hit or miss depending on his injuries, and there's not really any other PF available as good as him. You can say his contract is bad, but with this being pretty much the last few good years of Kobe, does that really matter much?

wow, no Boozer love. Boozer injured last year still had better numbers than most PF. Gasol is getting old and the Lakers need guard depth. Korver can play the 2 or 3 and has a cold heart. Boozer can bang better than Gasol and Artest combined. It is not that far fetched of a trade. Boozer last year was the most sought after guy once Bosh signed to Heat.

Did Amare die? God people are retarded. Boozer is one of the softest players to ever play the PF position. Gasol abused him for 3 years in a row when the Jazz played the Lakers in the playoffs. Carlos Boozer will never be the starting PF on a championship team.

I could go on for days but Im not going to waste my energy on something as stupid as this trade idea or the ideal that bulls fans have that Boozer is the answer. Im just surprised he hasn't gotten injured off the court yet by slipping in his kitchen while he was grabbing a pop tart.

I didn't realize Rip Hamilton was the answer to the Bulls beating Miami 4 times in a playoff series. Bulls haven't made any significant changes that make them better than the 1-4 series they had against MIA.

They could make the CF if they beat the Knicks, but don't kid yourself that this bulls team can win the east.
