View Full Version : Why so DAMM many women as analysts on ESPN?
I put this as OT in the NBA forum, the modzi's deleted it. Why are there so many female analysts on ESPN now, analyzing sports they never played in their lives like football, hockey, or technically even baseball? It seems like women have completely taken over the station. Are they trying to meet a quota or something? Why??? Women don't watch ESPN, men do. And I for one am sick of hearing women talk football as if they have any credibility whatsoever. It is ruining ESPN. IMO ESPN is turning into a joke and becoming un-watchable.

Other than Doris Burke calling games, I have no problems with the women of ESPN.

Seriously? No problem with a bunch of broads talking football as if they have any experience whatsoever....ok, I guess its just me, and Bartman from the NBA Forum so far. Just drives me nuts. :confusedshrug:
Is Michelle Beadle at ESPN? I really liked her from her Nets days.
But then again, she's only a reporter not an announcer or commentator.

I for one am sick of hearing you talk about basketball as if you have any credibility.
Also, a lot of the woman on ESPN are fairly knowledgable and I don't mind them much, though I rarely watch ESPN. Just because they are woman doesn't mean they don't know about sports. They have just as much credibility as you.

Lol well mission accomplished then. See I don't take what I post on these threads very seriously, half the time I am just trying to get a reaction from people who are way too serious about this stuff...like you. So thanks.
PS: the plural of "woman" is "women" guess that wasn't on the test for your VISA but it's a good thing to know. ;)
But anyway, yeah, way too many dumb broads on ESPN

I just happened to turn to ESPN and they were showing a college Bowl Game and some bitch was doing the play-by-play. Didn't have a clue what she was talking about either :facepalm

I was on espn earlier and there was some broad filling in for Jim Rome, and then she had a female football analyst visiting the show as a guest, so now you got two broads talking football. Just doesn't look real.

hah? i use to think she was a uppity bitch who thought she was hot when realistically she was decent. i did see some change in her when she and my niqqa robert flores co-hosted the morning sportscenter. it seemed liked she loosened up a bit; or maybe my niqqa flores was putting in work on dat pale ass. idk, i thought they were a great tandem - as usual, espn had to ruin every great duo.

The quality (or lack thereof) of discussion seen in this thread fully justifies the decision to justify the elimination of this thread from the NBA forum. Add in the fact that this topic has little to do with NBA basketball and the OP ignoring the fact that there are plenty of male NBA, NFL, etc. analysts that never smelled the major leagues and there was really no reason why the main forum needed to be suffering from this discussion. Barring deletion, the OTC is where this belongs.
But I did not post here to debate the merits (or lack thereof) of this thread. I just wanted to say...I deleted it.

Actually I pretty much forgot all of them. I compiled that list from a list on the internet. The only one I could remember was Sage Steele and Hannah Storm.

shows are successful based on ratings
to get ratings you need people to watch
men watch sportscenter and espn..
men like to look at pretty women..
which part of this isn't making sense yet?

I don't mind, as long as they know what they are talking about. Many of these analysts are just parrots, repeating stuff they hear from other experts. Most of those analysts are women, but not all.
The eye candy is nice, but come on, hot chicks are a dime a dozen and easy to find.

why are you watching espn for game analysis, listen to your local radio station, it's 10x better.

Simple, I don't. And the local radio shows aren't that much better than BSPN. They're all affirmers not informers.
