View Full Version : There I said it...Lebron is starting to earn my respect

Just a little bit but he's slowly earning my respect and those of this forum.

Why you say that 9er?

Well, he has matured, it's his birthday and he's another year older but what impressed me the most was him putting that diva Wade in his place. We are all tired of Wade and his antics and it was nice seeing Lebron daughtering him.

Somebody has got to put him in his place and Lebron being the leader now will to do that.

It will be a travesty if Wade is given first team over Kobe because he has Lebron carrying him.

Wade has been getting the attention that he doesn't deserve. All those talks about being the best? I find it laughable. Perhaps he's his usual self, out of shape and slow to start the season. That's Wade for you. You have to sustain a high level of play through the year.

Lebron looks very hungry this year and it's good to see him assert himself in Miami and taking this team over.

That's because he finally stood up to Wade and stopped acting like Wade's b1tch.

Lebron is the black man just released from jail....and Wade is the blonde virgin school girl now.

what is this lebron/wade incident??? any links?

There was no incident. Bron threw an ally oop to Wade who laid it up and Heat went up on the Wolves. Wade and Bron were discussing something about the play but how could there be any bad words considering they converted in crunch time?

I believe it was a coming out party for Lebron.

He is slowly leading by example so Wade will follow.

That was what was epic about it...they scored and Lebron still called him out.

My respect for Lebron is at an all-time high (despite last years finals)
He is playing with the "get the f*** outta my way" mindset that he's always lacked.

weight loss + maturity= best Lebron yet

Lebron was working up a 30pt triple double and was losing the game until Wade closed out the game

Perfect example of a guy that didn't watch the game. Lebron went to the bench at the start of the 4th quarter, and the Heat were up 7 points. He came back in and they were down by four or maybe six points. Wade is basically pulling a Tebow for the last two games. He is a no show for three quarters and miraculously appear in the last two minutes of the fourth quarter. If anything, Lebron has been carrying the Heat the past four games. No knock on Wade though he is injured, but give Lebron some credit.

please.

I will use Olympic logic here....Lebron kept the game close before Kobe closed it out.

That was what he did tonight. These Wade homers are pathetic.

That's pretty great news. The 200-300 NBA players I talk to each season have respected LeBron as a nearly unguardable player for many years now, but they obviously have much lower standards than you do

my gripe with him is his leadership skills and his mental make-up.

tonight, I liked how he put Wade in his place.

That's all it takes,

basically you are saying Wade is playing like Tebow. He's kind of sucks, so far in the year, which he does every year. Overweight and out of shape but somehow he pulls off a miracle.

So is that what it takes to downplay Lebron's game tonight. For some reason I have a feeling, you guys would be singing another tune if this was Kobe.

I wonder if anyone would criticize any other player who averages 33ppg on 60% mostly perimeter shots to go with 7.5rpg 7apg 3spg 1.5bpg on any kind of defense.
Again 60% 33ppg perimeter shots mostly.

Wade arguably outplayed Lebron in the 08 Olympics. Played like a beast in those summer games.

I value them.

Believe it or not, ISH represents the greater NBA fanbase in a lot of respects. We have posters incredibly knowledgeable about the game who provide insight from their years of experience. We have little kids trolling and bantering with one another. We have casual viewers that just enjoy a good ball game. All in all, we make up part of the basketball viewing community.

The reason I'm on a site like this is to hear what others' opinions are of the same game I'm watching. For me, sports are more enjoyable not when I'm boxed up and watching a game alone, but when I can converse with others that have the same viewing passion as I do and share our opinions. It's why I'm here, and it's why I have a good time on this website. It has nothing to do with if I agree or disagree with someone's opinions. It's that we have the luxury of sharing them with one another.

Now if you don't care, then so be it. But please don't try and speak for others.

I understand where you're coming from, and I enjoy discussing the game I love with others as well but you honestly value the opinions of an incredibly biased troll like TheLogo?

There are plenty of other rational, informed posters here with whom you can share your thoughts and opinions.

TheLogo's posts may exemplify the mindset of many biased basketball fans, but that doesn't mean we should value his thoughts, when he has consistently proven to be among the most biased, and least logical, posters on this website. Tolerate them? maybe. Value them? Definitely not.

You this as if the vast majority of ISH doesn't openly detest you and wishes you'd stop posing.

Your threads simply do not warrant any legitimate contributions. They're too full of bias, too agenda driven, and too idiotic.

If you were a better poster, I would be happy to contribute to any of your threads. But, unfortunately, you seem to be incapable of discussing anything in an unbiased manner. It's a shame.

Creating threads that receive a lot of replies does not mean that you are unbiased. Nor does it mean that you are liked, or even respected.

And, do you honestly believe that you are not biased? Do you? Really?

If so, than I don't know what else there is I can say. It's obvious that nothing that anyone says will be able to get through a skull as thick as yours.

I am open minded to new opinions but there are a lot of opinions that are so far bias that I try to ignore.

I listen to you and many others who have a point but I will not listen to the usual drivel that is going on here.

People saying that Kobe is not top 5 greatest of all time is just wasting my time.
