MVP! (Strong competition from fellow big two member Mario Chalmers though). He beat the Hawks by himself among the big three when all three of them lost to the Hawks a few days ago, although that was Wade's fault.
But, this is why I've said Wade/Bosh/C/PG (in 2010 free agency) could've been just as good as the big three with LeBron. The absence of a third superstar, and a ball-commanding one at that, would not just change Wade's game but Bosh's game too.
(Of course all this is assuming that Wade can still play, which is an open question at this point....)

To be fair miami only came up 2 wins shy of the ring last year but i do understand your point.
Infact with the way wade is going, trading him for some pieces culd make them a better team. I think 3 stars doesnt work as well as 2 stars. But i still think they will win it all this year.
I remember lebron saying back in 2010 before the decision, when asked at the nba all star game, "what other star would u like to play with?" and he said CB. I think those 2 will do well together as a main combo the next few years

My argument is standing up for real men and ball players. Bosh is a cool dude, but he tarnishes the basketball player image. Then for you fools to get behind him and act like he's something he isn't, as a player and person in general, is simply ridiculous.
He could be more utilized on a not-so-stacked team such as the Heat, but that would dramatically reduce his chances of, the ultimate goal, winning a ring. That's the catch 22 you guys fail to see.

You have read between the lines. I just said he is a star, which he is. Don't over analyze a statement on an internet board. Bosh is a star, as is Monta Ellis, as is Rudy Gay, as are many others. I never said he would lead a team to a title, just that he is a star and doesn't get the respect a player of his caliber deserves. Have I made it simple and clear for you?

I'm not a troll, i can just talk basketball for days and often am quite literal.
i'll let this one slide..
however, if you're on a team with wade and lebron how much attention or touches do you expect to get? They're top scorers. Bosh is a scorer.
Change bosh for someone who offers something besides points, a Love's rebounds, or DJ's blocks, you know, anything besides scoring. That guy could be talked about with wade and james because he'd be performing his own role instead of hanging onto coat tails of the league's leading scorers.
the debate over bosh vs wade/james is just kiddy. it's not a debate, it is what it is(Can't compete with leagues best scorers when you aren't one of them and offer almost nothing else to the team), just inflated by the media to give us something to bullshit about.

did i attack his character, or persona? i said it doesn't fit a ball player's image.
it's not boyish, i'm not idolizing. have you ever played basketball? do you go out to the blacktops and play, do you goto open gym, do you play in any league? a ball player is a tough, confident individual. Bosh, again, a cool dude, but absolutely does not fit a ball player's image, and thus cannot and will not lead a team.

Y'all can keep TRYING to hype Bosh up all y'all want to but the fact is he's a decent guy, NOT a superstar. The fact that Dirk made him a NON FACTOR in the Finals is evidence of that. He's so supposedly skilled, but correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Dirk go off for like 20 to 30 points in the Finals?! What were Bosh's numbers for the Finals?! Game 2 with a few seconds left and Dirk scores on him to win the game, AND even the Finals....which they went on to lose. But yet he's so supposedly skilled....right?! Like I said in my previous statement, holla when he puts up numbers like that vs REAL competition.

I'm a Heat fan, but anyone who watched the game will understand, that Bosh wasn't that impressive. Yeah, he hit a 3pt that led to OT, but he struggled playing in the post against Ivan Johnson and on the defensive end wasn't that great. Chalmers was the real MVP of the game, hitting vital shots and being cold blooded from FT. Bosh was solid, good game, but not great, and like Barkley said, Bosh isn't a player that you give the ball to and who will make plays and score at will.

he has indeed been more aggressive and taking it to the rim. The only aspect of his game I don't like is when he drives and somehow loses the ball. It's like some sort of flop to get a foul called. it's very annoying when he loses the ball driving.

01-06-2012, 11:04 AM
I think the reason Bosh was over looked last year is because of how few touches he had. He is not a domination defender, so he needs the ball to show what he is capable of. He won;t be a streaky if they can continue to get him the ball. He was shooting very good against the Hawks.

The difference is that Dirk has been consistent throughout his career, regardless of the "choker" label. Bosh was more hype than consistency. He was in Toronto, and really did nothing for that team. Dirk IS the Mavs franchise player, moreso than ever now. You can't even try to compare them to each other.

Bosh was a no-show during the first three games but Miami had a 2-1 lead so in a way his poor performances weren't a factor when the Heat were leading in the series.
Games 4, 5 and 6, Bosh was actually Miami's best player. Guess who sucked during these three game stretch? The so-called King of course.

Games 4, 5 and 6, Bosh was actually Miami's best player.
Not even remotely close. Wade was the Heat's best player in Games 1 -5. James was the best in Game 6. In no game does Bosh get that distinction.
And what was most frustrating, in spite of his par for the course numbers, was his inability to string two good halves together. As good as he was in the first half of Game 4, he was as bad as LeBron in the second half, repeatedly missing easy shots at the rim. And the Heat only needed to find four more points in that game, and then they would have gone up 3-1.

32 pts (81% FG) 11 rebs vs Portland
There were other great games, but these stood out the most.

Once again King Boshtrich was huge down the stretch with his defense. He had some clutch blocks towards teammates and contested everything without fouling. He stood still with his arms up and didn't jump at people.
Boshtrich's defense needs to be recognized, he is like a slimmer Joakim Noah out there, has perfect defensive IQ. Shitheads like Ibaka that jump on every pumpfake and rack up fouls are leagues below Bosh as defenders.
When I think of good PF defenders, only Bosh, Duncan and KG come to mind.

King Boshtrich showed us his fury in the 4th/overtime tonight, after hearing "Christina Bosh" insults in the 1st 3 quarters, he decided to channel his inner Hakeem and take a gigantic dump on the whole Spurs team. No rebound was too far, no block opportunity too high, no "And 1" too difficult. No mortal could contain this monster.
He saved Lebron's legacy and Miami Heat's championship hopes this day, let us have a moment of silence for this brave manbeast.

But, this is why I've said Wade/Bosh/C/PG (in 2010 free agency) could've been just as good as the big three with LeBron. The absence of a third superstar, and a ball-commanding one at that, would not just change Wade's game but Bosh's game too.
Yeah....
Probably best to just play it safe and sign Lebron.
But Bosh is definitely equal parts super gay, and awesome.
