And I think he looks more stupid with a hairline than without.

It's not hair restoration it's a product called/like aqua gel.

Actors have been using it for years.

Whenever you see a brother's fade, lining and it's just too dark and crisp it's probably said product.

It's kind of like a spray or gel iirc.

How is this vain? I'm happy everyone in my family has their hair until they die, but I would be mortified if I naturally had the hairline of Lebron/Boozer.

More hair is good. I can't blame the guy for trying to get it.

Don't really blame them for getting their hair done, play in front of millions... when I started receding, I hated it, beasted the gym for a 16 months just so a shaved head wouldn't look bad.....

Just because you think he doesn't look any better does not mean that any other people share your sentiment.

And, BTW, why the **** do you care so much about what another man does with his appearance? According to you, he's ugly either way, so I don't get it.

i mean, if it makes him feel better, then whatever. who am i to say anything. i'm not against trying to look as good as you can. hair plugs and the like are different though. they're tacky. they scream "insecure." but if they make him happy, then fine i guess. but i bet he would be even happier if he found some self confidence instead.

I didn't subtly drop anything.... a good proportion of guys use work out as a coping mechanism when they start receding, especially when they're in their early twenties.

no, hair plugs are huge women repellents. especially if they're obvious. women don't care about men's look as much as they care about the way they carry themselves and their confidence. this is an evolutionary fact.

he's an nba player so he probably gets all the women that he wants. i am just saying, in general, men should avoid hair plugs if they're looking to attract the ladies. avoid the horseshoe or comb over, get a crew cut or shave it down, and you're good to go.

no, they're not. women aren't attracted to money, they're attracted to strength and protectiveness. money is an indicator of that. hair plugs indicate the opposite. they indicate insecurity and vanity.

most guys go bald. it's not the end of the world, and if it's a deal breaker for some chick she's probably not worth pursuing anyway. it's much better to be graceful about it than to get hair plugs.

Wasn't there a study out claiming that the more that guys ejaculate, the more their hair thins because ejaculation releases DHT, which is the hormone known to kill hair foscils.
But I heard the porn industry threw this study under the bus because they thought they would lose a lot of money because guys won't watch porn as much to ejaculate :oldlol:

Here is a related small study done:

http://www.herballove.com/article.asp?art=62

But ever since I found this out. I got more paranoid and I only ejaculate when I have any intercourse with my GF.

they are not directly attracted to money, they are attracted to what money indicates. money indicates power and the ability to be protective. that's what women are attracted to.

there is no way women look at hair plugs and think "mmmmm those look EXPENSIVE, gotta get me summa that!" lol. they look at hair plugs and think they look a little foolish and a little effeminate. it is the truth, and i think a lot of men would benefit from realizing that.

yeah, but that doesn't mean girls are attracted to hair plugs because they indicate wealth lol. that was what was being argued. the fact that they cost a couple of grand is not what comes to mind when one sees hair plugs.

i shouldn't have said girls aren't attracted to money, because they are (or at least many of them are). i just wanted to emphasize that the underlying reason why girls like money is because it is a symbol that conveys power and the ability to protect them. hair plugs indicate the opposite.

Lol at this guy thinking he knows everything about what turns a woman on and how to get a woman, etc.

Fact is, all women are different. Some women go for looks, money, charm, whatever. Some of that bull you were writing might fly with some women but not all women. I'm pretty sure some woman out there looks at Carlos Boozer and says, "Damn. I like his hair."

i am just stating the overwhelming trend. i think boozer's married (but i've also read he cheats on her all the time). maybe his wife wanted him to get the hair plugs. i don't know. some women really do care about their mate's looks a lot. but all the psych research and stuff like that says that looks in and off themselves are not nearly as important for women as they are for men when finding a mate.

Everyone knows he got something done....the point is that it looks good on him, and the mass general agrees. He noticed his hairline going back, apparently didn't like it, and did something about it. Why knock on him for that?

The guy is only 29 years old, it makes since he wants to have a head full of hair. Not everyone can do the bald or missing hair look. If Lebron would have just done this a while ago instead of clearly putting a huge emphasis on it with his headband placements on his head, he could have avoided most of the hairline jokes like Boozer probably will.

The only reason he's being made fun of is because it's Carlos Boozer and people are dumb. It's not like he's wearing some piece or having plastic surgery.

With that said, if it's some gel that gives the appearance of hair, then I don't know...I'd have to look at that in person.

The only reason it doesn't look good is because not everyone is born with that straight a hairline...and by that I mean most people are not born with that straight (and strong) a hairline...and his hairline looked fine before. It's not like Lebron, who's receded a lot the last two years or so, and has receded a lot on the sides. Especially since Boozer keeps his hair on a 0 and it looks fine. This hairline on him is just too strong. Not fake looking, just too strong for my taste.
