Not a fair comparison in my book. I never saw Bob compete. I like the fact that he loved to rebound (NBA TV) though. I have KG higher on my list. Mostly because of the fact that modern players are quicker, stronger, and more athletic. Throw in the ability to be versatile, I have KG higher on my list than Bob Pettit.

Well if you are asking who I would take first for my team, I'm taking KG. The only other PF's I would consider taking over KG are Duncan and Chuck. But Petitt was the GOAT PF for a LONG ASS TIME. Hell until guys like Chuck, McHale, and Mailman stepped up their resumes. So Bob deserves his props too as well.

Obviously KG is a better player than Pettit, in the same way that Tiago Splitter is probably better than George Mikan. Doesn't mean the rankings should reflect this, since you need to consider what the players achieved versus the competition at the time.

Therefore, based upon that fact - in other words, a player's level of dominance - I'd rank the best power forwards thus:

1) Tim Duncan
2) Bob Pettit
3) Kevin Garnett
4) Karl Malone
5) Charles Barkley
6) Dirk Nowitzki
