I just saw a commercial for a reality tv gameshow trying to find the best new tattoo artist. I just thought to myself how terrible it would be if you're a person they did a tattoo on and the judges just trash it say its terrible.

One thing I never got with these messed up tats: EVERY tat I've ever gotten, the artist makes a stencil of the tat and draws it out in wet ink, then presses the stencil on so you can see exactly how it'll look before they start doing it.

I'm wondering if this is the artist seeing a spelling error and thinking it's funnier to not correct it, or if they're free handing it and making the mistake themselves.
