This dunk is a different than Mozgov, because Perkins attempted to challenge the shot. Mozgov didn't. The fact Perkins was up in the air, and if you watch the replay Griffin's momentum in the air was able to push against Perkins was amazing. Great dunk.

Try jumping over something small at least knee level but don't look down, and have somebody throw you something. Now... not only jump over something while keeping your eye on the thrown object, but maintaining complete control and catching the object.... that shit is utterly ridiculously hard to do. And Bron not only did that but made the dunk in a game! Something like that is hard to pull off in a dunk contest and they usually use chairs or a 5 foot person bending down in front of the rim, knowing what they're gonna do... yet they usually tend to fail.

BG's dunk was dope and all, but still not more amazing than Bron's. Bron's is a rare perhaps once in a lifetime type of dunk.

The LeBron James dunk and the Blake Griffin slam were both spectacular. Griffin's got more a rise out of me though. I prefer his dunking style in most cases, particularly in this comparison. Facials have happened before, but not like this. I'm not saying no one's done it better. Rather, I'm saying I can't remember someone doing it in this style, and it is a pleasing style. I'm not sure I would have liked it as much if he grabbed the rim. It was an amazing and awesome dunk I just didn't flip out over it.

The top of his head was at rim level which is pretty high but the rest of the dunk was pretty simple.

i think if youre a fan of posters you will favor the griffin dunk more, if youre a fan of dunk contest type dunks youll favor the lebron(he pretty much used lucas as a prop and would probably get a ten in a contest)

Sorry no. Lebron was the best dunk and one of the best dunks in NBA history (for me probably the best ive seen in NBA ever), nobody in NBA history has done the dunk what he just did. Even i admitted that Blake Griffin had a very awesome dunk, probably the 2nd best dunk ive seen this season, but its my opinion, i think being the first in NBA history to jump over somebody while doing an alleyoop over him... is more special than a dunk we have seen done many times.

Hoesntly, Lebrons dunk would be way more impressive if Vince hadnt jumped over a 7 footer before.

What is this guys hops seriously? I just watched the compilation of MJ's dunks on the nba.com site and i never thought i would say it, it just looks unspectacular compared to this guy. If Jordan had 42 inch hops (some saying upto 48 inch lolol), this guy must be at 45 at least.

Also after watching that MJ vid i feel like a huge majority of the league these days are on some kind of PED but no complaint from me just keeping it real.

to be honest both were good dunks Blakes just had more oomph and was seriously Nasty. It was like the Shawn Kemp dunk on Lister or Gatling. I dont know why were even arguing about this they were both good dunks Blakes was just better

Blake Griffins was better than Lebrons to me. Not by a long shot but it's close. It really is an opinion rather than fact. Throwing it in from a far distance over a 6'10" almost 280 pound center is difficult. Most players would have that ball bounce off the back iron. Not taking anything away from LB's at all, I guess I prefer "in your face" statement type dunks.

I'm sorry, but anyone who says Lebron's dunk was better is just plain crazy. They were both amazing dunks, but Griffin's is the dunk of the year. Even Lebron thinks so.
Off an alley oop jumps over someone's head still finds a way to keep his balance and throws it down. vs Pick & roll facial dunk on Perkins ... I'll take the the guy who jumps on people's head anyday of my life.
