I hope the Heat put the Raptors out of their misery early. I'd rather not have to worry about the Raptors possibly winning and I'd like to see Ed Davis get some playing time.

This will probally be a good time to see if Bron Bron tries to freeze Wade out on offense in the 2nd half. Wade is having a better game right now (by a small margin) and its a close game so lets see if Bron plays to the rhythm of the game or starts to try to pad his stats.

Why dont they just start Lebron at PG.... he would be averaging a triple double, only if he would rebounded aswell

The offense is just better... and they have the best lineup on the floor:

PG - Lebron
SG - Wade
SF - Miller
PF - Haslem
C - Bosh

That's still not a good habit especially for championship teams. Championship teams don't take nights off especially when they are full-strength. They are simply developing a bad habit but I guess this would be the best season to do it since every team is playing a condensed schedule.

No... not more than Rose would have... :confusedshrug:

Lebron plays and have always played the PG position traditionally... he has never chucked when playing PG.... he turns into a pure pass first player.... as evident of his Cavs days when he averaged 12.1 APG starting point-guard 13 games in a row.......

All of the laker 3 peat teams did the same thing.... Often never got up for bad teams. In a lockout season its easy to do.

The 1st team didn't, they were 67-15. The 2nd and 3rd team did but that was due to Shaq's laziness more than anything. Shaq can get away with laziness and being out of shape unlike these Heat players mainly because he was a big man.

The 2009 team didn't really coast if I recall correctly either. The 2010 Lakers team did but that was mainly due to injuries so that is a different story. The Heat are at full strength so they don't have much of an excuse for being lazy other than the schedule being condensed.

Except this Heat team isn't nearly as good as the Laker 3 peat teams, thus they can't afford to be lazy in some games.

They all did but at different levels. Even the 10 team lost quite a few bad games to,bad teams at home no less.

Miami beat all the bad teams last season and struggled against the good ones. I would much rather beat the good ones and just struggle to put away the bad ones.

Fact is in the regular season how you win games doesn't matter it's just getting the wins. How you beat certain teams in the regular season has no impact on what happens in the playoffs.

Miami have struggled to put away bad teams and that's down their own Arrogance and lack of focus as they expect to win on talent alone.

Derozan played really well. He was slashing very effectively and getting some nice dunks/layups as well as getting to the line consistently. Bayless played good to and so did Kleiza. Raptors seemed to stick with the zone defense for a majority of the game and it seemed to work well until Miami began hitting their 3's. Bosh didn't play too well, but Lebron and Wade did.

Did DeRozan end up near 50% shooting today, or was it mostly at the line (which I don't mind)? I like the fact that he was going to the rim.

Ya he was 8/16 and I think 9/11 from the line. Oh ya and James Johnson played great defense on everyone, pretty much why Bosh had a bad game.

Great to hear, very enlightening for him to have a good shooting game. The more games he has like this, the better for him, and the 9/11 from the line is also encouraging as he was struggling lately with his FTs.

I'm not surprised JJ played good defense as usual, but at least it affected Bosh so that's a plus :lol

Miami doesn't need HC throughout the playoffs to win, they need to be healthy in the playoffs.

Yeah they take some games off vs mediocre teams, but if that means they aren't worn out at the finish line, I'm all for it.

Even the "big" Chicago game, Spoelstra played his normal rotation.
