Let's all be honest here - if Jeremy Lin were black, there's no way anyone would consider that dunk of the decade, much less dunk of the year. I don't mean to rain on the Jeremy Lin parade going on up in here, but come on guys, at best that was dunk of the day.

I think it's great this guy is playing amongst the world's best at the sport. He's a superb addition to the league, for obvious reasons (jersey sales will be ^), and he's great for the game of basketball. Take notice, I have nothing against the guy, I just thought the idea of this being some type of one in a million dunk, was a bit silly.

It really isn't the dunk as much as it is the moment. I went to the game on Saturday (the first in this era :lol) and something about Lin makes you anticipate his next move - the garden was eating it up when he tied his sneaker! When I watched the next game over the net... I, again was into the next Jeremy move. So the moments build up and he seemingly has a bag of tricks up his sleave and reveals them from time to time. Before the dunk, I was wondering if he could! and then like POW! Yo, the cats a Ninja.

the best part of this play is how it starts. He sees Wall distracted during the setup, then gives him a juke as soon as he turns his eyes back to him, causing an overreaction and creating the lane. No hesitation once he cleared that path, dude was quick like lightning!
