This team is going to make the playoffs by replacing lebron with a rookie.
Once again just shows how overrated lebron is and that his supporting cast was far better than it was given credit for.

When Kyrie gets them to the NBA f**king Finals before his fourth year, we'll have this conversation.
Right now, overreaction is overreaction.

I guess you must have missed the Cavs' 26 game losing streak last year.

I'm pretty sure that their record got them the 4th pick. I think the first pick was from the Clippers. But point taken. No point though because all troll wants is a lot of responses, not really any good points.

Lebron is the greatest player the City of Cleveland will ever see. Sick to see so much butthurt Cavs fan still. Ah and i forgot, they were the second worst team in the league last year with basically the same cast minus Lebron.

you mean minus Z, west, injured vareajo and injured mo williams...other than that, exact same cast!

All of those players except Verajo are gone, and yet you imply they're the same team right now, saying they only replaced LeBron with a rookie...seems like a slight problem.

I guarantee that if Lebron was there last year & all those guys get injured or are out of there they still win 57+ games. Why you not gonna diminish him? Oh right ur a delusional hater thanks for showing that to everybody.

This season doesn't erase last season. Taking a year to adjust to a system without LeBron and potentially landing an 8th seed is not proving, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that LeBron's impact was "overrated".

I think its a little of everything.
Lebrons cast was better than we give credit
Last year the injuries and people that left caused a more losses than we think
And with that said, the most important thing
Lebron had big shoes , and kyrie is filling a nice portion of them. Kid is pretty good.

Definitely this.
Lebron was the biggest reason for their regular season success, but that team was built to complement a ball dominant, creative player like him or Kyrie. So the whole thing fell apart without him. Plus the departure of other players and injuries forced them to play scrub rookies heavy minutes.
This season is a much better indicator of Lebron's impact on that team. They may make the playoffs led by a 19 year old rookie.

btw Irving didn't play today. And how good the Cavs are playing now doesn't automatically mean LeBron is overrated. How can the best player in the NBA be overrated :confusedshrug:

Am I missing something or are the Cavs not currently 10-14? LOL. (11-14 with tonight's win).
According to the OP, this year the Cavs are The 2010 Cavs - Lebron + Kyrie. So, apparently, Lebron - Kyrie equals something very big. Kyrie is very good, so if there's a huge gap between him and Lebron then Lebron must be amazing.
I think the OP just argued in FAVOR of Lebron.

They're not in yet. And far from 66 wins. Troll harder.

They were on a 60+ win pace without Z but with Lebron when he was waiting his 30 days to sign back with the team after the wizards situation. And they won 10 in a row without Mo. Lebron just played the point. It was clear the Cavs needed Lebron but the rest could come and go with little impact. The next year they were garbage before Mo and Andy got hurt. They had a 10 game losing streak beat the Knicks then lost 8 in a row before Andy was out for the year. They were 1-23 in the 24 games before Mo went down.
The cavs last year were bad for one reason. Lebron not being on the team.
Lebron would probably win 50 games on the Bobcats at this point.

I agree with the massively overrated part, but not with the other. Cleveland was on a 20-win pace even when they had everyone healthy the first couple of months of last season. Look it up.

I'm guessing 10-14 according to post #18... Yeah, stupid moment to brag or make any outlandish statements.
