Nothing "weird" about it. Bynum is about a foot closer to the camera from that angle. Of course he'll look taller.

you're right... bynum was a lot closer to the camera.

i do think that bynum has a good 3-4 inches on dwight though. watching laker games, bynum seems to have an inch or two on pau who is a legit 7 footer.

bynum's measurements as a 17 year old rookie are 7'0 and 7'3 wingspan. he's since grown and probably added at least an inch to his height and wingspan so we'll say 7'1 and 7'4.

dwight's measurements are supposed to be 6'10 and 7'4.5. dwight's arms are a little longer than bynum's, which makes up for some loss of height.

either way, these two are the two best C's int he league currently.

two things need to happen for bynum to rival dwight for the top spot:

1) bynum needs to be able to learn how to handle doubles. he had so much trouble last night against the celtics. it was a nationally televised game, so most of you were probably able to watch it.

2) he needs to be the primary option to showcase his offensive skills. without the extra touches and opportunities to show off his offensive skillset, he's never going to overtake dwight. currently, dwight gets more touches and is a better and much more versatile defender. bynum will never overtake him this way. if given more touches, i think bynum has the ability to be a clearly superior offensive player. right now, bynum has the skillset, but not the stage.
