I'm Asian so, as you can imagine, I've been following this guy for some time now, especially after he performed well in high school but received no scholarships to D-1 schools. Many attributed this to racial stereotyping. And whether or not you agree with that, I personally am just glad to see him succeed. He's just a smart, solid player overall.

That being said, most of my fellow Asians facebook statuses keep praising Jeremy Lin and well...it just pisses me off. I think that's what irks me about the whole Linsanity thing; when he cools down, all these bandwagon fans will go away.

I know there are fake people everywhere but fake Asian people annoy me more than any other group. I think it's the cultural ties. You figure because you can connect easier that you'd realize how much you're in it together. But that's not the case. Umm the Lakers for their entire existence have been yhe frnachise to fall ass backwards into talent...or steal it from other teams.

Stealing Kareem from the Bucks, Shaq from the Magic, receiving Utahs #1 pick in the draft because of an NBA technicality and lucking out with Magic Johnson. Getting James Worthy under the same circumstances as Magic, stealing Kobe from the Hornets, Gasol from the Grizz.

Lin is playing well right now. But I have a hard time liking him because of this media overrating-ness that happening. I mean, they talked about him the "whole" game last night.

Also, his game is very fundamental right now, and I wanna see some raw talent and the ability to carry out this level of play from him for the rest of the year.
