Classic mind-f*cking by Thibs.

LBJ was clearly the best player that night and yet, he drew a play for Derron to hit the game winner. Next time, he drew a play for Wade. You guys see the pattern here?

Two times he purposely did not let LBJ take the game winner to make sure he realizes that even in a meaningless exhibition game, he can't be trusted in crucial situations.

Its just odd all the hate lebron is getting over that last 5 secs...he should of shot it yeah but u can see why he did try to pass and to him at the time it made sense considering who else was out there... He and wade made it close in the 4th and saved this from being a terrible weekend...he played great in the 4th and made it worth watching from a highlight standpoint.

There are times when he deserves hate but in a fun show off game this really isn't the time. For people to think he was scared to take the last shot in an all star game is hard to get my head around.

Oh well was a great game in the end and made the weekend bit as bad.

What? No I don't see at all why he made that pass. Making a cross-court pass in traffic is one of the dumbest passes anyone can make, and I'm sure someone as smart as Lebron know this. Like I said, if he saw Melo and passed it I can see that being the right play. He clearly didn't though and was just looking for whoever to get the ball out of his hands.

I'm sure you're not serious, but just in case you are...

Thibs drew a great play the first time, but Deron almost airballed it. It's on him, not Lebron, not Thibs. After that, Lebron somehow ended up with the ball, but instead of shooting it himself, or passing it to near by Melo who was open and made a living out of making those kind of shots, he threw a cross court pass to his boyfriend in traffic and got the ball stolen.

Then before the last shot, Lebron asked Thibs to make him the inbounder, so he wouldn't have to shoot. With Lebron's track record, no NBA coach would have put the ball in his hands anyway, but Lebron should have asked for it. He had a chance to make up for his mistake, but he didn't have the heart for it as usual.

Okay. He's not scared. Just one of the smartest players in the league who has a recent pattern of choking in the clutch coincidentally made one of the dumbest plays one could possibly make.

How is denial treating you?

Lol of course not, this ******* just likes to make sh*t up to prop up his hero Kobe and then talk about it like it's absolute fact.

Hey guys, I know for a FACT that after LBJ turned it over, Kobe was said the following:

"What do you mean you don't want to come to my hotel later and watch SpaceJam? I promise I'll wear pants this time! BTW you should have shot that from midcourt with a hand in your face like I always do, coz that's what Mikey J would have done!"

RRR3
02-27-2012, 01:16 PM
Honestly, aren't LBJ and Kobe friends off the court? Kobe probably just said something like "WTF man you should have shot that" and LeBron was probably like "yeah, man, brain fart". Of course, this couldn't possibly be true according to most people on here because it doesn't feature enough of Kobe and LeBron "in character" as the "Stone cold assassin" and the "choker". :hammerhead:

Then you should recognize these quotes:

"I cannot think of any need in childhood as strong as the need for a father's protection."

"If a man has been his mother's undisputed darling he retains throughout life the triumphant feeling, the confidence in success, which not seldom brings actual success along with it."

"If you can't do it, give up!"

Lebron must have heard the last one:roll:

Lebron saw Wade put his hand up in the corner. Kobe was on him and he saw Durant shading as a help defender on his right side. He obviously didn't see Blake and threw a horrible pass to his boy.

I don't think he was scared to shoot, I just think he didn't want force a shot over possibly 2 defenders and he tried to make the right basketball play. IMO if he doesn't see KD shading as a help defender, he would of took kobe.

Instead, he threw a bad pass in an All Star game. He messed up and he's human. Dwade fumbled a pass out of bounds for a dunk like a dweeb too. Who cares? It was a really entertaining game. The game was close and there were a lot of highlights. I loved every minute of it.

1st time - pass to wide open Deron - good look, no problem here
2nd time - no attempt to shoot, look for Wade and try a pass despite there being 3 defenders between you (might as well pass it to Melo to bail you out)
3rd time - no desire to shoot, choose to inbound

but hey don't take our word for it, Kobe, Melo and the announcers were just as shocked

You act like that was the right option? He had tons of room to drive to the basket to the right, or dribble hard pull up and it wouldn't be NEAR a 27 foot fadeaway. Retard.

Instead he threw a cross court pass, which is a known "no-no" in basketball communities, and it went directly to the other team.

Un-selfish, basketball reasons

:oldlol:

Please, stupid play ... he should've made an aggressive move to the rim.

Lebron made a mistake not shooting it and he even stated so...think he was expecting the double team and thought a guy would be open. He messed up thats for sure....he went the wrong direction. He should of gone Melo instead of cross court if he was going to pass.

Again I'll say what needs to be said again, as a Lebron fan, he should have taken the shot, twice even. Once after Deron missed, and then after when he instead took it out of bounds. There was no pressure, and everyone wanted him to (even Kobe and Melo ffs). It's really sad if he indeed was scared he'd miss.

That said, you Lebron haters would have a lot more credibility if this was your consistent argument. Pretty sure you weren't saying "at least he tried" last year when he had all those missed game winners last year.

Hey Kobe stans, you do realize that in career playoff game winning shots, Kobe is currently 7/25 and Lebron is 5/12, right? Just saying.

So of course Kobrick was like "Hey why didn't you shoot it man!" Because we all know he would have thrown up one of his patented last second air balls if given the chance lmao.

Also, nice FT at the end there by your boy. The definition of clutchness. How can anyone compare.

Kobe just hit another game winning shot in Toronto, but I guess you don't count it because he made a free throw afterwards? Expected.

Lol... I'm beginning to think you didn't watch the game last night. I was referring to Kobe missing the FT immediately before Lebron turned it over. Or maybe you did watch the game but were to blinded by your love to realize he missed. Either way, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Huh? WTF are you talking about? All I'm saying is that Kobe just hit another game winning shot, just a couple of weeks ago in Toronto (they were down by 1, and he hit a 2 to give them the lead with a few seconds left).

He means the FT Kobe made vs Toronto after the game winner.

Then this is even more pathetic than what I thought he was saying.

First of all, the stat I put up was about the playoffs... where everyone says Lebron ALWAYS crumbles and Kobe ALWAYS succeeds. But even putting that aside, the point he is basically trying to make then is that a lot of Kobe's game winning shots get negated because he always makes FT's after? And Lebron is somehow immune to this same phenomenon? Even though in the very next breath they'll try to say that Lebron stat pads at the end of games?

Wow a new level of idiocy.

Didn't see Blake? You ever play 5 on 5 basketball? Cause anyone that does usually knows that throwing a cross court pass in a non-fast break situation is completely stupid and I'm sure Lebron of all people knows this. Its just a dumb move and is easily subject to a turnover given the time it takes a defender to put themselves in position to make that pick. Its not like Blake is some great help defender or something.

In an All-Star game though? Does he not realize that by continually passing up these GW's he's doing more damage to his reputation than if he would shoot them and miss?
