F*ck off. They're like a game over .500
A hint of success and you start a thread like this. Don't disrespect the Denver, Houston, Portland and Memphis franchises.
At least wait until Minnesota actually has a playoff seeding. Jesus.

Funny thing is I can't be mad.. because I was making these same type of threads last year when the Clippers weren't a playoff team. It's because Wolves fans are getting a taste of success and are excited about it. Can't blame them. They deserve to boast after humiliating a good team on the road IMO, playoff seed or not.
As long as Wolves fans don't make crazy comments like Stallionaire about how they are already better than the Clippers over two games etc.

life was much better when everyone thought David Kahn was a retard...
I remember him raving about Pekovic during a summer league game to Chris Webber I believe and you could tell Chris thought the guy was out of his mind. I felt the same way; so some Euro nobody really scouted, wasn't drafted or on anyone elses radar is going to suddenly come in and produce for you team at a high level?
Kahn is a vulture though I'll tell you that. He waits around for scraps, always tries to rip everyone off. He's the type of guy you really hate and just want to punch square in the face for being such a weasel. He jumped in when he knew Miami was desperate to move Beasley to make LeBron happy, and used Riley's compromised position to his advantage. Kahn never budged on his measley offer of two 2nd round picks for the former #2 overall selection Beasley. He has the balls to draft 2 point guards in a draft despite knowing his team has other positional needs. He wouldn't absorb the already paid for contract of Eddy Curry in the Carmelo Anthony deal unless he received Anthony Randolph as compensation. Mind you, this is dealing with his former mentor Donnie Walsh. The guys a complete dick and a low life, but I guess he knew what he was doing on a few instances.

Because he tries to rip everyone he deals with off... Thats not how you do business, and if you were involved at all in the business world you'd know thats fast track to burning bridges and alienating yourself.
Trades are almost never completely fair for both sides involved, but Kahn goes about making some downright insulting offers to people. He knows nothing about goodwill in business.
Donnie Walsh GAVE HIM Darko Milicic, who although sucks, became the Wovles starting center. Donnie traded him to Kahn for Brian Cardinal who was waived 4 hours after the trade. He did this as a favor to a guy who he had mentored years earlier and considered a friend. Then scumbag Kahn has the nerve to DEMAND Anthony Randolph as compensation for taking on Eddy Curry's contract, a contract which was ALREADY PAID FOR IN ADVANCE BY THE KNICKS! So in essence the wolves were taking on a phantom number, and wouldn't have had to pay a dollar to Eddy. But ofcourse Kahn had to be a dick about it and say "well the Melo trade isn't happening without us, and I want something out of this".

If my GM attempted to get the most value possible in exchange for the least value possible, I'd be pretty happy.
I don't care if my GM burns bridges if he is trading dollars cents, over and over.
and honestly I like his style: acquire talented players whose careers haven't worked out for cheap, then hope they mature and develop their skills.
but maybe I'm naive because I'm not part of the "business world"

I don't see a problem with this. The guys job is to acquire talent and build the best basketball team possible. If you have leverage over someone, like with the Carmelo trade, then why not use it? As for Donnie Walsh, maybe he is in the wrong for "gifting" Darko Milicic to Kahn?

No one is saying dont get a good deal, but theres completely something wrong with offering pennies on the dollar time and time again. Should the Knicks offer Landry Fields to the Lakers for Kobe Bryant just because "hey i should always try to get the best deal possible!". Sick sense of entitlement guy
Also i see the way you think, and youre an opportunist. I bet your friends in real life dont trust you a bit. With the Darko and Randolph thing thats like saying to a friend "hey remember last week when i helped you move into your new place? Well this week i need a ride to the airport friday; can you help me out?" and you responding by asking for $50. Is that right? If you ever grow up and study business or accounting youll eventually see that on balance sheets some companies have an account called "Goodwill", its usually intangible value your company has accrued over the years that actually adds monetary worth to a firm. If goodwill is important enough to be recognized by accountants and fortune 500 companies like Apple, then obviously its valid in doing business anywhere

wrong order......
*Love - Pekovic - Rubio
*Derrik Williams

*The team has gone from 17- 65 to18-17 with no pre-season (almost).
5-1 on their last 6 games.... long long road trip coming up though
funny thing...we play almost better on the road for some reason...
im sure over half of our home wins, we had a double digit deficit. few games were when we controlled the game from start to finish

so what happened about the Clippers? K Martin slugs Pekovic in the back which led to a T for coach A....
Then D~less Jordan slams Kevin Love in the back twice and bruises a rib
Desperate boys in LA they already knew they were overpowered so they gotta resort to cheap shots in the back? is that what that looks like?
