We have a couple of spreadsheets at nbastats.net that might help you out:

http://nbastats.net/01NBA/07bonus/StatsBefore1973-74.xls
though we're always looking to fill in holes in our databases (especially the missing 5x5 games by Erving and Gervin).

Also AK47 having 3 is pretty impressive

Scottie Pippen and MJ both had seasons with 3+ steals and over a block a game multiple times in their careers and never did this. Pretty impressive feat by Batum, I was at that game baby! Saw a gamewinner by Lillard and a part of history.

I think Greg Monroe has a chance of getting a 5x5 in his career.
And Hakeem.
2nd best player I've ever seen play in their prime.

Noah should get one sooner or later. Maybe.
That 1993 season has 33% of the list.

2013 Bryant, Kobe LA Lakers 47 08 05 04 03
Kobe Bryant: 1st player in NBA history with at least 47 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 blocks, 3 steals in an NBA game (blocks and steals became official in 1973-74)
NEXT LEVEL: Kobe Bryant scored season-high 47 points Wednesday against the Trail Blazers, scoring in a variety of ways. He primarily used post-ups against Damian Lillard, Will Barton, and Sasha Pavlovic, who defended Bryant on 24 of his 27 field goal attempts. But he was effective in other play types.
Kobe Bryant scored 47 points on Wednesday night, eclipsing Kevin Durant for the highest average points per game in the second game playing on consecutive nights. He is now averaging 29.7 points in 15 games in the second game of a back-to-back. This was the first time in 16 tries the Lakers swept both teams in consecutive days.
Kobe Bryant is the 1st visiting player to score at least 47 points AT Portland since Larry Bird in 1986.
:facepalm
The category is 5x5. Please gtfo here with this shit...
And this is coming from a Lakers fan.

why would you include this (great indeed) kobe statline in this 5x5 thread? if you start including honorary mentions this thread will lose it's meaning.hell i remember a lebron's game a few years back against denver where he had a statline like 43 points,13 reb,15 assists,4 blocks,3 steals.and this is just out the top of my head,if you start digging you will come up with a ton of honorable mentions.....

can you read ?
ass-holes are not welcomed here .. go hate somewhere else
Here are the last three (well, first three, but these are the only three official 5x5's missing):
1979 George T Johnson 15 8 5 7 5
1979 George Gervin 21 5 6 5 5
1980 Julius Erving 28 * * * *
We don't have the complete line for Erving, but Elias Sports Bureau confirmed this on ESPN:
Despite playing through his troublesome back injury, Nicolas Batum posted a stat line of 11 points, 10 assists, 5 boards, 5 steals and 5 blocks Sunday. According to Elias, he's the first Trail Blazers player to reach those numbers in a game since 1973-74 season (the first season in which steals and blocks were officially recorded). In fact, only two other players in NBA history have done it -- two players whose names likely have never been mentioned in the same sentence before: Jamaal Tinsley in 2001 and Julius Erving in 1979. This diverse stat line is exactly what we hoped to see from Batum this season and speaks to his incredible upside, so long as he can work through his sore back.

This is kind of what Jamaal Tinsley does. I'm fairly certain he holds the record for most assists in a game by a rookie with 23 assists. His entire career is littered with moments that make you say "back up, Jamaal Tinsley did what?"

This stat is so obscure it really blows my mind. It's like saying
"Kobe Bryant: First player in NBA history to make the game's first basket from exactly 16 feet away while it's a Sunday in February on an even day on the calendar."
I mean it's a great statline but why make it into a "first ever with these exact stats or better"? Who cares. What if someone had the same statline, with 3 more rebounds and 2 more points but 1 less steal? It still wouldn't fit this obscure stat, even though it would be a more impressive statline.

sure go ahead and start digging
any statline that says '' 1st player in NBA history with''
deserves an honorable mention, period.
@fpliii .. thanks, will be added
Players' statlines with at least 8 rebounds,5 assists,4 blocks,3 steals. As you can see some of them are more impressive than kobe's statline. But most of them don't qualify as a 5x5 performance....you better start expanding your honorable mention list

-Appreciate the list, my friend. But I must agree, really confusing to just randomly throw that Kobe Bryant tidbit at the end there. Had to read through all the responses in the thread just to try to figure out what it was doing there. Respectfully, I'm still not quite sure.
