Don't ever open your mouth and mention my seeds
Talk about my book you bought to read
You know you watch the sitcom ***** so stop that
Mad rapper, but now you turned mad actor
Forty-nine pounds and tryin to be a monster
Run around town with the Bob Marley imposters
Ask Canibus, he ain't understandin this
Cause ninety-nine percent of his fans, don't exist
I'm goin underground and blowin your rep down
Next time, save that shit for the Lyricist's Lounge
Or a House Party, where you can battle some clown
On top of all that, I beat your homeless ass down
Heard that convicted rapist on the record too
Fresh out of jail, ass cheeks still black and blue
Tell me bout the things ear biter taught you
How to bust a nut or two? (Yeah that's butta boo)
You be decomposin, but you frozen because my title's stolen
Steady rollin in a world that I'm controllin
Vanguard awards are for Kings who get OFF!
Clock platinum mountains, the praise of the Lord
Talkin bout my first and second and third born
Now I got a fourth, Canibus, but he cut off
From the riches of my empire, I'm like a pimp
Who thought he had to retire but found a new Canibus to hire
You're hardcore, innocence like Heather Hunter
But definitely not with the lyrics that drop thunder
Found you in a trash can, hat black, cause you scared to bust
***** in Todd we trust

You must be 15 or under.

Dude is top 20 for sure. Dude has been relevant for almost 30 years. Who else from the mid 80s is relevant, not Kane, Kool Moe D, Whodini, ect.

Yes it does. He's survived different types of hip-hop and has adapted to the times. That shows he's one of the top. I didn't put him in the top 5 or nothin, but he's in the top 20.

Twista is cool, but this is not your 10 favs. I like Twist too, but he would make a 50 greatest list. He would probably make my top 50 list though.

Cowboy Thunder

i respect u for dat,

but where is 40 water?

Love 40, but just couldn't get him in the top 10/15.

I basically browsed my itunes/cd collection and put that list together.

I know Devin the dude isn't really a top 15 rapper, but I have almost all his albums. It's just my list.

40 water would be top 25 for sure.

^ I've never been able to get into these artists.

Eminem is a great rapper, but Snoop and Dre smashed the music industry with gangsta rap. Changed everything about the music. Em is just very talented but not as influential.

Disagree about Outkast over UGK.

I mean who else can jump on a JayZ track and not get overshadowed.

1. At Least....that white boy Eminem got skill...look at Paul Wall, Vanilla Ice, Bubba Sparxxx, etc....none of them shit can sell not because of white....that's because Eminem got talent mfer....why do you think Nas, Jay-Z, Rakim, Kool G Rap, LL Cool J, even Canibus has much respect for him?.

2. The Game Is To Be Sold, Not To Be Told....is f*cking garbage......not surprised coming from you cause you're a huge NL fan so shut the f#k up. No Limit Top wasn't that bad but The Last Meal is better than No Limit Top Dogg.

3. UGK wasn't influenced Outkast mfer....it was f*cking Geto Boys mfer. ....Just because Outkast sell more recrods because of they're more commercial?....why don't u hacve a sti down mfer....Outkast was just better than UGK mfer. UGK is overrated but I did enjoy some of UGK music...but Outkast are way better than UGK MFER

I'd take Riding Dirty over ATLiens anyday of the week. They both came out the same year too.

It shouldn't be that hard to fathom.

ATLiens:

Charts

Chart (1996) Peak position
U.S. Billboard 200---- 2
U.S. Billboard Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums--- 1

Ridin Dirty:

Chart positions

Chart (1996) Peak
position[1]

edit: this can't even be right. All Eyez on Me came out in 1996 and was obviously #1 in rap

UGK was raw as shit talkin bout making dope, sellin dope, fckin hos ect. That shit ain't gonna cross over to mainstream. That's why Kast chart higher and sell more records. They appealed to a wider audience.

No doubt.

I don't think either of us are talking bad about Outkast. It's a matter of preference. I just jam UGK more than Kast....

You must be 15 or under.

Dude is top 20 for sure. Dude has been relevant for almost 30 years. Who else from the mid 80s is relevant, not Kane, Kool Moe D, Whodini, ect.

Nope im not 15 or under and even if i were thats irrelevant. He is a horrible rapper and is not relevant at all. He hasn't been relevant for a very long time. Big Daddy Kane & Kool Moe D are in a different league to him entirely. He's a crap rapper who would struggle to crack the top 100

element of surprise is a top 5 double album. in a major way - classic. the revenue retrievin series is the best rap made by a 40 year old and no one comes close.

and that's not even counting the click. the discography is as good as any legend's.

http://place1.dyndns.org/music/files/images/detailed/103228.jpg

Quite possibly the best album 99% of you ISH-bustaz have never heard.

Thornton keeping it real. Wolf Tickets is my shit & Hurricane - oh shit! - classic!!!

that wasn't the argument. what you're saying is fine.

i don't understand why you weirdos feel the need to constantly point out andre. "andre so great! top 10 omg!" as you said outkast is just outkast. big boi was as integral and just as good if not better. and its sad that they aren't making another one and andre decided gillette ads are more important than making music. that is not trill. pimp c > andre 3000

You damn right!

:applause:

Andre 3000, I mean it's like, come on (SP Jimmy voice) - dude is such a Kool Keith style/swagger jacker. Him venturing into being an actor and doing commercials now? - that shit is major cool points lost, dude is damn near game over in my book, and my book matters.

1. Eminem is white.
2. Not tops Doggystyle, but his NL releases were not rash, guess you never heard The Game is To Be Sold, or No Limit Top Dog.
3. They sell more records because they're more commercial, UGK influenced Outkast, lol.

LL was a contender for the crown for a lot of years.. I wouldn't say he was ever the undisputed best rapper around, but he was a contender for many years
