The ability to barely dunk with two hands off two feet does not mean one can then complete a 360. My very first two-hand, two-footer came in 1999 and at that point, there was no way I'd have been able to even fathom completing a 360 dunk. In fact, I'm not sure I could put down a 360 until 2005ish and even then, it was one of those "incomplete" 360's where I'd approach from the right side of the bucket. Further, even with the ability to jam off one or two feet and flush with one or two hands, I never had the ability of ever being able to throw down a 360 in a game.

The more I give it thought, the more I'm thinking maybe you intentionally sold 360 dunks short so you could then cause a poster (me in this case) to respond in jest, standing up for the difficulty of a 360 jam so you could essentially have someone else sing LeBron's praises for you. If that's what we're dealing with here, then well played sir. Well played.

I can dunk in various ways like double clutch (reverse) off one leg, regular dunk with two hands and a reverse with two hands off two legs, but I can't 360, shit is not that easy. I don't know how many athletic beasts we have here on ISH but I think most of you guys are bluffing.

I've got no problem 360 dunking on slightly lower than 10 foot hoops. I've been "pretending" to 360 on lowered hoops every since 3rd grade. Essentially, I've been perfecting my 360 footwork for almost 20 years. The fact I can only sometimes 360 on a 10 foot rim has to do with my hops and not my footwork. Just because a person can dunk with two hands off two feet does not mean they can easily 360.

Thinking about it, of the people I know right this moment who can dunk with two hands off two feet, the vast majority cannot effectively 360 dunk. Once your hops reach a certain level, it is a very complete-able dunk (if regulation rims were 9'8'' I'd be all set) but it's not a slam that can be completed by anyone who can dunk with two hands off two feet.

I can't dunk for shit, but on lowered rims, on which I can dunk two handed, one handed and even windmill it (somewhat), a 360 can still be very hard to pull off. Saying that anyone who can dunk two handed can do a 360 is ridiculous.

I disagree. I found the 360 finish to be more favorable. Not to be overly critical, but that 180 is virtually a layup. I am in the camp of believing a dunk doesn't necessitate hand-to-rim contact, but I do think it should probably involve a throwdown. And in that play, it seemed more like an anticlimactic drop-in. It was a great play, but not a particularly insane dunk.

I liked the second link you posted though. I've always been a fan of one-foot, two-hand, hanging dunks.
