i might be the only guy on ISH who ever even saw Cousy and I only really remember him because he bought me and my dad a coke at a game once when I was like 12.

stockton
kidd
cousy (obviously never saw him play and don't feel comfortable ranking, as he was retired before my parents were even born)
Too young for Cousy. Out of Stockton and Kidd, Stockton. They have a lot of similarities but Stockton could shoot. Wouldn't mind either of them on my team (Always will be indebted to what Old Man Kidd did for the Mavs).

Stockton first for sure. Then Kidd.
Cousy couldn't shoot a lick. At least Kidd became a better shooter as he got older.

Barring their obvious differences in skill sets across the era's I guess my list looks something like this:
Magic Johnson
(the next 3 in any order)
Isiah Thomas
Oscar Robertson
Bob Cousy
(the next 2 in any order)
Jason Kidd
Walt Frazier
(the next 3 in any order)
Steve Nash
John Stockton
Nate Archibald
After Magic it really is very very tough to rank these guys. Talking about guys who are top 10 point guards of all time is a challenge and a lot of them are so close it just depends on what you favor more... rings?... stats?.... skill?... individual accolade?... league impact?
I tried to be as fair across the board as I could. I slightly weighted on league impact and rings. Followed by stats, individual accolade and skill.

Gary Payton says Stockton was the toughest player he ever faced.
He never played against Cousy,
So Stockton then Kidd.

:coleman: Bro, all 4 of those guys are basically on the same tier all time. What the hell is so laughable about ranking any of those dudes over Kidd

If i was to run a team i would pick Magic as my PG but if there is no Magic, then Stockton easily. Stock was one of the most competitive players ever he did not talk his demeanor showed what he was about. He was a nasty defender (sometimes dirty) a great shooter, clutch and THE GOAT CREATOR OF OFFENSE EVER.

Nash isn't I am sorry
And Kidd never had a player like Malone in his prime. When he went back to Dallas and helped Dirk winning his first championship, Kidd was already past his prime. Can you imagine if the Nets had traded Kidd to the Spurs in 2003?
Prime Kidd and Prime Duncan would've been deadlier than Malone and Stockton.

Kidd wouldn't have shot below 40% if he played with Duncan? Kidd played in the east. A big part of his success
