The reason why I wasn't affected was because the stream I was using was taken down due to copyright when there was like 30 seconds left in the game, so I went to the game thread, and I was so focus looking for another stream before the game ended, that when I clicked the link, saw it, no effect, close and kept looking.

On this thread I new what it was, clicked it, it affected me very slightly, but it did. Just interesting how things are different when you're focused on a mission.

 As a Bulls fan, I think the Heat are honestly going to win the East unless the Bulls make some moves.

I don't think the Bulls stand much of a chance with their current roster against this current Heat team in a 7 game series. The only other hope the Bulls have against Miami is injuries for the Miami Heat.

I made a thread a few days ago or yesterday that the Heat should steamroll the East and the only competition they should worry about is the West. Celtics have a better chance of taking out Miami than Chicago does in my opinion.

Yeah I'm a Bulls fan and I'm a Packers fan. Those people exist in Chicago or Illinois specifically in the Northern area.

It is just like how there are Bulls fans in Milwaukee who are probably also Packers fans or people in Milwaukee who are Bucks fans and Bears fans. What is interesting is that the Soldier Field is probably closer to Milwaukee than Lambeau Field. I've been to both.

I was proud of him for not getting pressured into taking the shot when he was double teamed and passed it to the wide open Haslem though. That took more guts and smarts than putting up a stupid shot just to please the critics.

Lebron will continue to shoot if he is open (like he was tonight) and will continue to pass when that is the best play available. And he will also continue to let super-star Wade get a chance too like he did tonight.

Good stuff by Lebron.

Clutchness is probably the most overrated factor in sports and in some way is a myth. You either deliver or not.

Exactly....

I dont know whats with these kids today, they think this is NBA 2K12 for PS3 or something..... where you suck as a player but have 99 rating in clutch and hence hit 100% FG when the game is on the line all the time or where you are the best as a player and have 0 clutch rating and miss everything.... :lol

Clutch = "Not being afraid to fail" - Reggie Miller.... thats all it is...

Any superstar/all-star and probably 99% of all players in the NBA are "clutch".... or else they would have not been in the NBA...

But it is naturally the best players in the team who will get to perform most of the "game on the line" shots... other times it is a Coach play to free up a shooting specialist for a open shot and so on....

How well you make or miss a shot when the game is on the line totally depends on what type of shot you are gona take, how much time there is left and how good of a 3pt, midrange, FT shooter you are, how good of a slasher you are, how good you are at setting people up for open shots, how good you are at drawing fouls and so on.............. and last but not least, a bit of luck or bad luck............

Because of that a player will go thru streaks of inconsistant making and missing when the game is on the line....

Clutch is not rocket science, its not magic, its just simple god damn basketball.... for a superstar, a jumpshot with 1 second left in the 4th is no different than a jumpshot 1 second left in the 1st quarter....

Even by your own definition Lebron is NOT clutch

the dude is deathly afraid of failure that's why he plays hot potato every 4th quarter. that's all ppl are saying, Lebron's afraid to have the game in his hands. He defers to the alpha on the team whoever it is, Wade on the Heat and Kobe on the Olympics team

I'm a huge critic of his lack of clutch ability, but I'll admit he was clutch today. Could care less about the FTs he missed with 3 min left in OT. He made a FT to take the lead and made a 3 to retie the game with a minute left at the end of the 4th. Too bad for him that Wade had to finish the game though and get all the credit.

However, this still doesn't totally convince me he's totally gotten over anything. He was clutch vs. Boston and Chicago as well, and then just sh*t himself vs. Dallas. The truth is his complete 180 degree turns vs. Boston in 2010 and Dallas in 2011 makes it so the only way I can truly be convinced is if he does this in the Finals and wins a title.

Okay. Those stats don't take into account the numerous shots that Lebron has passed up. The fact is Lebron has had a problem of passing it in the clutch when he shouldn't while Kobe has had a problem of shooting it too much in the end when he should'v passed it up. And even with that, the stats are still quite similar. And either way, I mentioned "consistently". Kobe's mentality and clutch ability at the end of games hasn't changed much for over a decade. Lebron's has taken a nosedive ever since he came to Miami.

And seriously, you're bringing up the FINALS? :oldlol: Kobe hasn't been a great Finals performer at all, but REALLY?

I've always thought Kobe is overrated in the clutch and playoffs, but he's hardly ever just shied away from the moment like Lebron has at times.

What? LeBron's 2nd only to Kobe in last-shot attempts since entering the league. What more do you want?

That said, he's NOT a clutch player today. His only 2 buckets in the half-court came via long 3's. How often is that going to happen? He's a player who struggles to create and doesn't like taking long jumpers with the pressure on. Which is why he'll continue to struggle in the 4th qtr the rest of his career.

This

LeBron is also 7 years younger than Kobe. Kobe is already a 16 yrs. NBA veteran. LBJ will have the same numbers of shot attempts in his 15th NBA Season.

Think before you posts.

Nevermind, I read that wrong :hammerhead: Either way, in his Cleveland days I never argued that Kobe was on a completely different level then Lebron clutchwise. But throughout there careers, Kobe seems to be more consistent in the clutch specifically because of whats gone on with Lebron the past few years.
