13 Season Laker Veteran

I am making this thread for a tribute to one of my favorite Lakers player of all time. No matter what uniform Fisher makes he will always be a Laker in my eyes. I don't even know what to write for Fisher, he was to me the glue in the Lakers, someone who no matter how he played was looked up to by all players on the Lakers including Kobe.

Let's Revisit some great Laker moments with Fisher

The 0.4 Shot

Kobe would be like 3 rings short if it wasns't for Fisher. It wasn't his fault that coaches decided to play him when he obviously should have been benched.

I will miss him a lot, despite my frustration with his production.
He is a legend in LA and will always be beloved. One of the best leaders we ever had, who stepped up in countless big moments and sacrificed his body for the team. He was also an iron man who rarely missed games.

I wish we traded Blake instead and kept Fish to come off the bench.
Good luck in Houston Fish, all the true Laker fans will always love you and appreciate everything you've done for our franchise.

Kinda heart wrenching, I don't know another point guard besides Smush since 00'. :(

Just saying, but you got the 2009 Finals picture, not the 2010 Finals picture.

Derek Fisher has been a positive force and role model for not only every player in the NBA but also for everyone he meets.
100% Class, Pride, Poise and Generosity!!!!!!

I hope that once he retires that he comes back to the Lakers as a coach

Seriously, he is like the scrubest of scrubs right now but what he has given the Lakers in the past is not even funny. This guy was BIG in many championship runs. The .4 sec shot is perhaps the most amazing NBA moment I've witnessed. I really hoped he could retire a Laker as a 2nd or 3rd option but then again I don't think he would have been too comfortable with that role.

Just hope he understands a team does not live out of memories and he needs to go as a player now, understand how every fan appreciates him for what he has done, and hopefully he'll be back in the organization once he retires.

I can't help but laugh at the hypocrisy of this post :lol

You act like you were always a loyal fan of Fisher but we all know you laker fans would've continuously sh!talked him and given all the glory to Kobe had he not been traded. Despicable.
