Towards end of video. Barea looks like he would be an annoying prick off the court as much as he is on the court. Crazy how Wolves had great chemistry last week before Rubio went down and it's already going downhill. Same thing happened for Clippers when Billups went down. Hope Wolves can figure it out...

This should be one of those InsideTrax moments. Oh snap... Honeycutt dissolving Beasley with that dunk.

Barea called the afternoon's outcome "terrible, worst loss of the year if you want to put it timingwise" after the Wolves committed 21 turnovers and acquiesced in a fourth quarter when they gave up the good fight, after losing in overtime at Utah on Thursday and remaining respectable against the Lakers on Friday.

"Part of the game, competitors trying to win," Barea said. "We're frustrated that we're losing, but it happens, every basketball team. We just got into it. It's all right. He said something I didn't like, I said it back and we're all good. Nothing against him."

Barea shrugged his shoulders and walked out of the locker room toward the waiting team bus bound for Monday night's game at Golden State while Love sat in full uniform, his feet in a bucket of ice, and stared dejectedly down after addressing media members.

"It's nothing personal with J.J.," Love said. "I think we're both frustrated and we took it out on each other when we should have taken it out on the other team. That was both of our mistake, both of our bad."

Rubio was truly the glue of the Wolves. His leadership was big.

Their whole concept of the season changed when he went down. They pretty much went from potential low seeded team that could potentially scrap together a playoff run to a team with no hope. Injuries are a bitch.

Tell me about it. Even this year I watched Clippers go from longshot to win west... to lucky if they get a top 5 seed the minute Chauncey got injured.

Damn, you guys would be sitting pretty if you'd have gotten J.R. Smith. Understandable he wanted the big market but it would have been a nice fit.

I think Young is a better fit as a similar player. Today he was actually passing the ball quite a bit. Playing defense to get 2 or 3 steals including a clutch one to help seal OT. He doesn't come with the same kind of problems Jr would have. Once CP3 learns where to find him... he's going to be great.

This would be an interesting thread... if this forum were called "Women and their problems." Who cares? The only reason they're arguing is because they're pissed off they have to live in Minnesota.

well the players on the Mavs loved him and he was always pretty funny when he would do radio bits here in Dallas so I'm going to go ahead and say you are wrong.

Kevin Love has actually said Ricky brought the team close together in interviews. Not sure what the big deal is..

Wolves dont have many black players...

Ricky Rubio
Jose Juan Barea
Luke Ridnour
Kevin Love
Nikola Pekovic
Darko Milicic
Brad Miller

Same thing happened between Barea and Terry back in Dallas. He's a competitor, clearly hates losing.

How does relate to what you said earlier and do you take conventional interviews with cheese puff statements and run with them? Yeah, you do.

Wolves need to pull their shit together. I can't have the dropping below Portland and moving ahead of them in the draft.

Rubio going down will prove to be a blessing in disguise for the Wolves reminiscent of the year Robinson went down for the Spurs...and we all know how that turned out. The Wolves will end up with a high draft choice and therefore an opportunity to add even more talent to this young squad. The Wolves may be very dangerous real soon

Ah, well I don't think Rubio is the guy that keeps the team in check though. Like Love said, Mr. Universe and himself were just in a scuffle because they were getting shit on by a bad team and I really doubt Rubio's presence would have done anything to alter that.

The Wolves traded this year's draft pick a long time ago.

Rubio was the glue holding this team together, Love is awesome but Rubio is a more important player. He plays really good d, is an incredible passer and most importantly he ran the offence to perfection. Ridnour is a good scorer but he is a big downgrade defensively and he can't run an offence. I'm pretty sure we lost to the Lakers by 2 without Love and now without Ricky we are falling hard.

Kevin Love is 6'10. JJ is about 5'9. I doesn't matter how much fire he has. The size disparity is just too much

Lots of fans mad in this thread that a puerto rican midget ****ed their teams up in last years playoffs.

This isnt a big deal to me. The two had a back and forth. Everything is back to business. This team is relatively young and trying to fight for a playoff spot. The fact they CARE about how they are losing is somewhat of a good thing. Both acknowledge they should have channelled that frustration on the opposing team. Lesson learned, isnt that how you become experience by going thru certain situations? :confusedshrug:

Big deal i forgot the Wolves traded this pick like 7 years ago in that Sam Cassell trade or whatever. If they had the pick, what i said would have been one ofthe more insightful posts in the thread....as usual.

But anyway well...sucks for the Wolves then
