Melo - 14.2 ppg, 5.2 rpg, 4.4 apg, 38.8% FG (13.4 FGA), 27.8% 3P, 60.9% FT (4.6 FTA), 1.8 topg

Amare - 16.8 ppg, 8.6 rpg, 57.4% FG, (10.8 fga), 78.6% FT, (5.6 FTA), 1.2 topg

Lin - 14.8 ppg, 6.0 apg, 4.8 rpg, 43.8% FG (9.6 FGA), 30.0% 3p, 96.7% FT (6.0 FTA), 3.2 TOPG.


lol at Melo. He has taken more shots than both Amare and Lin and he is still scoring less than both of them.

Amare is playing like 31 mpg, Lin is playing 29 mpg, and Melo is playing 28 mpg. I'm not sure why it matters though.

This actually makes it worse for Melo since he is playing the least minutes, is taking the most shots, and is scoring the least out of the three. :oldlol:

well if you have just even an average IQ you would realize that melo is injured coz he isnt shooting his fts well which then in turn affects his jumpshot. What matters is that this assures that hes willing to sacrifice stats and disproves the notion that hes selfish.

well only idiots would think that its melos fault when actually its amares fault. They lost to new orleans btw with amare and almost lost to the raptors. The 2 of them quit on dantoni. Its clear that they dont give effort coz his system sucks. Only idiots would want his system. Its just that amare is close to dantoni that he doesnt want to throw him under the bus. And he can play with his injuries but it affects his shot. His injuries are ankles and wrist. dantoni said it might bother melo throughout the season. Melo was playing well at the start of the season until he broke down and he hasnt been this bad throughout his career. I guess its just really that hard to analyze things when you have low IQ eh.

Our teamwork, defense and hunger has been great so far. It's a small sample size but we are playing much better with everyone in the lineup.

I'd prefer shared scoring and a W as opposed to Melo dropping 40 and us losing.

Way to post minutes played! Three of the games have been blow outs with Melo playing like 25 mpg (averaging 28 mpg for the last 5 games). His %s are horrible now, but low turnovers, great defense and high assists is very important too.

Amar'e has been beasting it. Playing amazing. It's funny because he was supposed to be the biggest beneficiary of D'Antoni but he's blown up since his "resignation." It's been a huge reason for the wins. He's also defending much better.

Tyson's #s from the last 5 (the woody era):
27.8 mpg .706 (FG%) 6.8 (RPG) 1.2 (APG) 2.2 (BPG) 10.8(PPG)

And JR is averaging 13.8 PPG and 3.8 RPG in 25.6 mpg. Also near 40% in 3pt%. (Last 5 games again).

Anyone who has watched a game would tell you how balanced this team is now.

when he has to slow down rose, or wade & lebron, or rondo, in the pick and roll in the playoffs, we can determine if hes really improved defensively

Wasn't Bosh considered a soft player and crap defender in his days @ Toronto? If Woodson can do with Amare what Miami did with Bosh they can turn him into a great help defender which is what team defense is all about.

Amar'e's defense is bad. He's actually good at weakside blocks though.... but his pick and roll defense is BY FAR the worst in the league. He literally stands still between the ball handler and the screener.... His man to man D has looked better during this streak. Just effort alone makes it look better.
