Some of us were hoping he can be good addition and maybe make a comeback this year(not as good as prime t-mac but good role player level) with Hawks. So far:

'12 T-Mac : 5.3 ppg 2.8 rpg 2.0 apg

He plays only 16 minutes per game this season coming from bench. He couldn't score single point for last 3 games. He has 0 points in tonights game too, so far.

The Hawks are better off not playing a choking cancerous loser like him.

With that being said, did Tmac get his tattoo on his right arm removed?? :confusedshrug:

The coach seems to play him very inconsistently. Some nights Tmac gets a lot of mins and some nights he only get couple mins. From what i saw from him this season, he just ain't looking to shoot at all. He mostly tries to create for his teammates. However you just dont see much movement with him in the game.

He tends to not play in consecutive games because he knee could go at any minute.

I CAN'T UNDERSTAND, how he is STILL in the league and Allen Iverson is playing for the Dominican Republic. Like seriously?

He was a weapon coming off the bench early on for us, was getting 6th man minutes and putting up decent numbers. When Joe Johnson took time off with tendonitis LD started Hinrich, then when JJ returned LD kept Hinrich in the starting line up leaving Marvin and TMac on the bench competing for minutes. TMac can still be handy, he can post up is a great passer and can still finish around the rim, for some reason LD has put him in his dog house????

When I see the second unit struggle at times I wish they would give him more minutes, just feed him in the high post and let him go to work. I saw somewhere recently he apparently is not to happy his minutes have been axed, meaning Im sure he wont re-sign with the Hawks for next season.

Allen is a tard, his ego is bigger than all his injuries that's what. It's no news he uses his head very little......as great as he was.

They dont run any plays for him let alone give him a chance, if they did he could at least average 10/3/3.

He looked pretty good at the beginning of the season. Knees are probably giving out on him.

It looks lighter at least. I think there might be glare in your picture?

In the original post, the tat looks very dark. Is that a photoshop of McGrady in a Hawks uniform or is it the picture's contrast making it appear so dark?

I remember when he came to the Knicks and our team had sucked, I thought this guy would seriously be great. He had a good ovation and everything like he was lebron. I still remember his first shot in NY that he had made.

His first game in NY, had like 26/5/5.

He can produce if given minutes. Earlier in the season, he had a few 20 pt games. Now, seems like he barley plays.

Tattoo removal takes multiple treatments and as you get them done it gets lighter and lighter. He could be undergoing this. And A.I isn't out of the league due to his talent or fitness he's out because of his attitude while declining.

That's what I'd heard (about them coming out lighter and lighter), I was just confused with how vibrant the tat appeared in the original poster's picture. I appreciate the knowledge. Either way, here's a link regarding McGrady's tats:

In the NBA, where well over half of players have tats, the decisions of players such as Bibby, teammate Tyson Chandler and former Knick Tracy McGrady - all of whom are removing at least one tattoo - represent an inevitable but little-noticed byproduct of a generation that popularized an obsession with body art.

Tattoo removal business will likely only continue flourishing in the very near future.
