Why do some (most?) wear those horrendous oversized multi colored Morris Day/Steve Harvey/Mask suits?

My best friends still wear them like Cross Colors is still hip.

Ya'll know, those oversized coats, baggy pants, football pad shoulders, colorful as hell.

Please enlighten me.

I can go to any Sunday service and see 90% of church goers come out looking like a Dick Tracy extra, Stacy Adams in full mode!!! Oh and the matching croc shoes and colorful ties (super skinny on top that reach well past the belt buckle) have to be included as well.

Cause brothers have style. And what you're desrcibing is a "chopper suit" the size any beng bagy and what not. I see a few cats wearing those colorfull suits you speak of. If you wanna see a pimp showdown, wait for easter in a few weeks. Me, I rock suits that fit me nicley, and are not baggy. I have a al white suit, that's the most outrageous color I have. it was an honest question mixed with some corny humor. But people DO wear these type of suits, I see them all the time. Matter of fact, the reason I made this thread was because I just saw one of my friends on Thursday wear one.

They're fashionable because "brothas" like to be different and or stand out. We also like to have a style off our own (me at least.) I was never one to follow what's hot at the moment. Most cats my age are wearin either the hipster look, Jordans, AF1's, skinny jeans and tight as shirts. Me, I'm the opposite.

ROFL @ you guys hating on the chopper suit. Chopper suits and Stacy Adams are quite stylish. You have to pick the right combo, suit, tie, belt and shoes.

It is not a suit to wear to interviews but a suit definitely made to wear during a social event. Weddings, parties and what not.
