Andrew Bynum suffered a left ankle injury late in the first quarter and left the Lakers' game Sunday against the Golden State Warriors.

The Lakers called it a sprained ankle, though X-rays were being taken at Staples Center.:lebronamazed:

Well that is the lakers season done...
Even if it's not too serious... Probably a couple of weeks.. Won't have much time to get rid of rust before playoffs.

If its serious? Well time to tank

It really didn't look serious, and he walked out on his own without much of a limp. I can see why they're being cautious though.

Think about how many times he gets fouled without getting up a shot though.

Here's how you can tell who's a Kobe fan as opposed to an actual Lakers fan. This fool is happy Bynum is injured because it means more shots for Kobe and less insecurity for him

Yea, you had Bynum for Dwight straight up.

I am saying, Bynum for D12 straight up wasn't going to cut it. Adding a few scrubs and taking up a fatty contract was preferable than keeping Bynum imo. At least when things could have happened. The rest is story now. Bynum is just too injury prone and when he's not he's a spoiled bratt so.........Lakers missed a great opportunity to get D12 this year.

Pretty sure he couldn't play anymore tonight.
He was limping back to the locker room.

He's also getting into confrontations with coaches and teammates. Seems like the Kobe and Shaq 2.0 is going to meltdown quicker than the last pairing.

So it would be worth it to trade Bynum, for a one year rental? Dwight wasnt going to re-sign or even opt in if he was dealt to LA. Plus they would have to take on some ugly contracts as well?

:yaohappy:

http://espn.go.com/los-angeles/nba/story/_/id/7771310/sources-los-angeles-lakers-andrew-bynum-fined-undisclosed-amount-numerous-infractions

He was fined before the game, and I would bet you Kupchak benched him for tonight's game as well.

I get where Bynum is coming from. He took 1 bad shot and gets benched while Kobe takes 10-15 every game. He's just handling it like an immature child instead of talking to the coach/management behind the scenes.
