The fact that people keep saying "don't sleep on the Spurs" is starting to make them overrated. Especially when they haven't won a title in 7 years. We all know they are great every year. In fact I hear about them a lot, so I really don't think they are as underrated as people make them out to be. They only seem that way because they don't have any polarizing factors about them. There's no story to talk about in media, and that's perfectly fine. But in terms of basketball, people do not sleep on the Spurs. They respect them very much.

Last year thy had a relatively easy path. The Warriors were the only real team to put up a fight in the West.

I don't see them making it to the Finals this year. They'll probably have to go through their two worst (as in 0-8) matchups to get there. MAYBE they'll pull it together to take out Houston, but OKC.... If it's not lights out shooting, it's the refs.

I'm thinking they'll win in 4/5 vs the Mavs, then lose in 6 to Houston.
